CDS 2 2022 Notification, Exam Date, Eligibility Here

CDS 2 2022- UPSC will release the official CDS 2 notification 2022 on May 18. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility norms will be able to apply for CDS 2 exam 2022 till June 14. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the CDS 2 2022 application form online on upsc.gov.in on the same day. The last date to apply for CDS 2 exam 2022 is June 14.

UPSC Combined Defence Services (2) Exam 2022, also known as the CDS 2 Exam, will be held on September 4. Combined Defence Services (II) 2022 Exam is conducted to select eligible candidates for admission to the Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and the Officers Training Academy, respectively. • Indian Millitary Academy which is only for Men at Dehradun- 100 Posts
• Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala Course only for Men- 45 Posts
• Air Force Academy, Hyderabad(Pre-flying) Training course only for Men- 32 Posts
• Officers Training Academy at Chennai 105th SSC Course only for Men- 225 Posts
• Officers Training Academy at Chennai 19th SSC Women (Non-technical) course only for women- 12 Posts

CDS 2 2022 Eligibility Criteria

UPSC will release the CDS 2 eligibility 2022 along with the notification. Here, eligibility terms are mentioned on the basis of previous year’s pattern

CDS 2 Age Limit 2022

• For IMA & Indian Naval Academy— Unmarried Male candidates who are born after 2 July 1997 and before 1 July 2002 are eligible to apply.
• For Air Force Academy— Candidate’s age should be between 20 to 24 years i.e. candidates should be born after 02 July 1997 and before 01 July 2001. Note- Upper age limit relaxation upto 26 years is valid for candidates who have a valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India). i.e. born on or after 02 July 1995 and before 01 July 2001 only are eligible.
• For Officers’ Training Academy—(SSC Course for men)- Unmarried male candidates who are born after 2 July 1996 and before 1 July 2002 are eligible.
• For Officers’ Training Academy— (SSC Women Non-Technical Course)- Unmarried female candidates who are born after 2 July 1996 and before 1 July 2002 are eligible.

CDS 2 Educational Qualification

• For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy— Candidates should possess a Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
• For Indian Naval Academy— Candidates should possess a Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
• For Air Force Academy— Candidates should possess a Degree from a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

CDS 2 2020 Application Form

• Candidates who want to apply for the CDS 2 exam 2022 must go through the eligibility criteria precisely.
• CDS 2 Application forms will be released online on May 18. The candidates must keep themselves updated and fill the form before the deadline.
• The last date to submit the CDS 2 2022 Application form is June 14, 2022 after which the candidates will be unable to apply for the exam.
• After submitting the online forms, candidates are advised to take the print copy of application form for future use.
• There are two parts to the application and each must be filled carefully and the questions must be answered correctly.

CDS 2 2022 Exam Pattern

• Candidates have to prepare the given subjects for CDS 2 exam 2022. The given exam pattern provides the duration and maximum marks.
• The exam will be held in pen and paper mode.
• There will be negative marking.

CDS 2 2022 Preparation Tips

Candidates need to follow the below given tips to prepare for CDS 2 exams 2022

• Make a study time table and cover the complete syllabus at least a month before the CDS exam 2022
• Solve as many sample papers and last year question papers to under stand the difficulty level of exams.
• Make short notes of important sections and topics
• Revise the prepared topics regular basis.

CDS 2 2022 Admit Card

Applicants will be able to download the CDS 2 admit card 2022 three weeks prior to the commencement of the examination. CDS 2 2022 admit card will be made available on the official UPSC website (www.upsc.gov.in) for downloading. No physical CDS 2 admit card will be sent through posts. Applicants will be required to provide their registration number and the password to download the CDS 2 exam 2022 call letter.

CDS 2 2022 Answer Key

Some coaching institutes release the CDS 2 answer key 2022 on the exam day. candidates will be able to calculate their scores with the help of answer keys. The official answer keys of CDS 2 2022 will be released 3 weeks after the exams. candidates can challenge the official answer keys if their find any errors. 

CDS 2 2022 Question Papers

UPSC releases the previous year’s CDS question papers for candidates who are preparing for the exam. The commission will release the CDS 2 question papers 2020 after the release of result. Candidates will be able to download the CDS 2 2022 question papers pdf from the commission’s website. 

CDS 2 2022 Result

The result of CDS 2 exam 2022 will be released online on the official website of the UPSC. It is expected that the result will be declared in December 2020. No official date has been announced for declaring the result. The result will be announced in the form of PDF format wherein candidates can check their roll number. The list contain the roll number of the qualified candidates only.
