CAPF Eligibility Criteria 2019- Candidates who want to apply for UPSC CAPF AC 2019 Examination should satisfy the eligibility norms of the examination. The CAPF 2019 eligibility contains terms related to minimum age limit, education qualification required, nationality, age relaxation and more. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the conditions related to CAPF 2019 eligibility along with the official notification on 24 April 2019.
Only eligible candidates will be able to fill the application form. Hence, it is necessary for all aspirants to check the complete eligibility criteria. The commission will conduct a CAPF 2019 Written Exam for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) on 18 August 2019 (Sunday). Selected candidates will be recruited in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) i.e. Border Security Force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). CAPF Eligibility Criteria 2019 Nationality
Only a citizen of India is allowed to appear in the examination. A subject of Nepal or Bhutan can also apply for the exam, but he/she has to produce a valid eligibility certificate.
CAPF Eligibility 2019 Sex
Male and Female candidates, both are eligible for the UPSC CAPF Exam 2019.
CAPF 2019 Age Limit (as on 1 August 2019)
A candidate’s age must be between 20 years to 25 years, i.e. he/she must have been born after 2 August 1994 and before 1 August 1999.
CAPF 2019 Age Relaxation
Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per the government norms.
- For Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe Candidates- 05 years
- For candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes- 03 years
- For Civilian Central Government Servants/ Ex-Servicemen- 05 years
- For candidates domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1 January 1980- 31 December 1989- 05 Years
CAPF Eligibility Criteria 2019 Educational Qualification
Aspirants must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or possess an equivalent qualification can apply for the examination.
All the norms of eligibility must be fulfilled by the candidates prior to apply online for the exam.
UPSC CAPF 2019 Application Form
The Commission will release the online CAPF 2019 application form on 24 April 2019 on its official website. Candidates satisfying the above-mentioned UPSC CAPF 2019 eligibility can fill and submit the forms till 20 May 2019. Only online mode to submit the application form is available. Along with the online forms, candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 200/- in online mode only. The commission will not accept any hard copy of the form.
