The commission will conduct a CAPF 2020 Written Exam for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) on August 9, 2020 (Sunday). Selected candidates will be recruited in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) i.e. Border Security Force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). CAPF Eligibility Criteria 2020 Nationality
Only a citizen of India is allowed to appear in the examination. A subject of Nepal or Bhutan can also apply for the exam, but he/she has to produce a valid eligibility certificate.

According to CAPF 2020 eligibility, both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply for CAPF AC exam.
CAPF 2020 Age Limit
A candidate’s age must be between 20 years to 25 years (as on August 1, 2020), i.e. he/she must have been born after August 2, 1995 and before August 1, 2000
CAPF 2020 Age Relaxation
Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per the government norms.
- For Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe Candidates- 05 years
- For candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes- 03 years
- For Civilian Central Government Servants/ Ex-Servicemen- 05 years
- For candidates domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1 January 1980- 31 December 1989- 05 Years
CAPF Eligibility Criteria 2020 Educational Qualification
Aspirants must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or possess an equivalent qualification can apply for the examination.
All the norms of UPSC CAPF 2020 eligibility must be fulfilled by the candidates prior to apply online for the exam.
The Commission will release the online CAPF 2020 application form on April 22, 2020 on its official website. Candidates satisfying the above-mentioned UPSC CAPF eligibility criteria 2020 can fill and submit the forms till May 12, 2020. Only online mode to submit the application form is available. Along with the online forms, candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 200/- in online mode only. The commission will not accept any hard copy of the form.
