IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the below IBPS PO eligibility before applying for the IBPS Probationary Officer 2026.

  • Nationality- Only Indian nationals and candidates having a valid proof of Indian nationality are eligible for IBPS PO exam 2026
  • Age Limit- The age limit of the candidates should be between 20 to 30 years i.e.  A candidate should have been born after August 2, 1990 and before Auugust 1, 2000 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
  • Educational Qualification- Candidates having a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for IBPS PO 2026. Candidates appearing in final year of graduation 

IBPS PO 2026 Application Form

The authorities will start the IBPS PO 2026 registration process tenin the July 2026. Candidates who are eligible for the IBPS Probationary Officers exam will be able to fill the online application form till August 2026. The only online mode is available to apply for IBPS Probationary Officers 2026, hence, candidates have to submit the IBPS PO online forms along with the requisite fee and documents. IBPS PO Application Fee

  • For SC/ ST/ PWD candidates- Rs. 100/-
  • For all other candidates- Rs. 600/-

Documents to be Uploaded With IBPS Probationary Officers Registration Form

Candidates have to upload the below mentioned documents along with the IBPS PO registration. All the documents should be in the mentioned size and dimensions. The format of the images should be JPG or JPEG only.

Signature Image

  • The preferred dimensions are 140 x 60 pixels.
  • The file size should be between 10kb – 20kb

Photograph Image

  • The preferred dimensions are 200 x 230 pixels
  • The file size should be between 20kb–50 kb

IBPS Probationary Officers 2026 Selection Procedure

The final selection of the eligible candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination followed by the Interview process. Candidates who will qualify the IBPS PO prelims 2026 with minimum cutoff marks will be called to appear in the Main Exam and finally selected candidates will be eligible to appear in the Interview process. Finally selected candidates will be allotted as IBPS Probationary Officers 2026 in the participating organisation.

IBPS PO Admit Card

The admit card of IBPS PO 2026 examination will be issued online in the month of September 2026. Candidates will be able to check the centre, venue address, date and time through the call letter. Separate admit cards will be issued for preliminary and main examinations and interviews. Applicants should download his/her IBPS PO Admit Card from the IBPS’s website by providing his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. No hard copy of the IBPS PO exam call letter will be sent by post/ courier.

IBPS PO 2026 Result

The result of IBPS PO Prelims Exam will be issued online on the official website of IBPS in the month of October 2026. Candidates who will qualify the prelims examination can appear in the Main Examination. Candidates have to enter the correct registration number/ roll number and Password/ Date of birth in the specified space to check the complete result. The result of IBPS PO will comprise the name and roll number of the candidates along with subject wise marks secured in IBPS Probationary Officers exam 2026 and minimum cut off marks.

IBPS PO Cutoff

Cut off of IBPS PO is the minimum marks that a candidate needs to attain in each subject and in total to get shortlisted for the next stage. Cutoff will be decided on the basis of number of vacancies, number of candidates appearing in the test, difficulty level of IBPS PO exam 2026. The cutoff marks of IBPS PO Exam will be disclosed after the declaration of the result.
