CDS 2 2019- Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the official notification of Combined Defence Services (II) Exam 2019, also known as the CDS II Exam, on 12 June 2019. Alongside, the application form will also be issued online on upsc.gov.in. UPSC CDS II 2019 Examination is scheduled to be held on 08 September 2019. Only eligible candidates will be able to fill the application form of CDS 2 2019 Exam till 08 July 2019. Hence, candidates should go through the eligibility criteria extensively before they apply for the same.

Combined Defence Services (II) 2019 Exam conducts to select eligible candidates for admission to the Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and the Officers Training Academy, respectively. UPSC conducts CDS Examination twice in a year. Here we have mentioned the details of CDS II Examination 2019. We will also provide the application and notification link on this page.

CDS II 2019 Eligibility Criteria

UPSC will release the CDS 2 eligibility 2019 along with the notification. Here, eligibility terms are mentioned on the basis of previous year’s pattern

CDS 2 Age Limit

  • For IMA & Indian Naval Academy— Unmarried Male candidates who are born after 2 July 1996 and before 1 July 2001 are eligible to apply.
  • For Air Force Academy— Candidate’s age should be between 20 to 24 years as on 1 July 2020 i.e. candidates should be born after 02 July 1996 and before 01 July 2000. Note- Upper age limit relaxation upto 26 years is valid for candidates who have a valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India). i.e. born on or after 02 July 1994 and before 01 July 2000 only are eligible.
  • For Officers’ Training Academy—(SSC Course for men)- Unmarried male candidates who are born after 2 July 1995 and before 1 July 2001 are eligible.
  • For Officers’ Training Academy—(SSC Women Non-Technical Course)- Unmarried female candidates who are born after 2 July 1995 and before 1 July 2001 are eligible. NoteIssueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees who have not remarried are also eligible. Make sure you have relevant documents to satisfy the eligibility.

Educational Qualification

  • For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy— Candidates should possess a Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
  • For Indian Naval Academy— Candidates should possess a Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
  • For Air Force Academy— Candidates should possess a Degree from a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

  • Candidates have to prepare the given subjects for CDS 2 2019 Examination. The given exam pattern provides the duration and maximum marks.
  • There will be negative marking.

CDS II 2019 Application Form

  • Candidates who want to apply for the CDS II 2019must go through the eligibility criteria precisely.
  • The CDS 2019 Application forms will be released online on 12 June 2019. The candidates must keep themselves updated and fill the form before the deadline.
  • The last date to submit the CDS 2 Application form is 08 July 2019 after which the candidates will be unable to apply for the exam.
  • Those who want to appear for the exam then must ensure they take a printout of their CDS Admit cards once they are released online. This will be a crucial document as this will be required as proof during the time of result.
  • There are two parts to the application and each must be filled carefully and the questions must be answered correctly.

CDS II 2019 Admit Card

The applicants shall be released an e-Admit Card 03 weeks prior to the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card of CDS 2 Exam will be made available on the official UPSC website (www.upsc.gov.in) for downloading. No physical CDS 2 admit card will be sent through posts. Applicants will be required to provide their valid & active e-mail i.d. while filling up CDS 2 2019 online application form as the Commission may use electronic mode to contact the applicants.

CDS II 2019 Result

The result of CDS 2 Examination 2019 will be released online on the official website of the UPSC. It is expected that the result will be declared in November 2019. No official date has been announced for declaring the result. The result will be announced in the form of PDF format wherein candidates can check their roll number. The list contain the roll number of the qualified candidates only.
