UPSC Geologist Exam Pattern 2019– Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologists Examination, every year, to recruit eligible candidates to the post of Geologist, Geophysicist and Chemist in Geological Survey of India (GSI), Ministry of Mines and Junior Hydrogeologist in the Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Resources. UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist & Geologists 2019 Examination will be conducted on 28 June 2019. To qualify the examination, candidates must be aware of the UPSC Geologist 2019 Exam Pattern. The paper pattern includes the name of the subject, total marks and duration of the test. Geologist Exam Pattern 2019- Important Points

  • The examination will contain the Conventional type questions.
  • All Question papers will be set in English language, only and candidates have to answer each question in English.
  • Candidates who have opted for both the posts of Geologist and Jr. Hydrogeologist will be required to appear in all the subjects mentioned against Categories 1 and 4 above
  • If any candidate failed to appear in any one or more of the above papers, meant for a written examination for selection to the post of Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist, their candidature shall be rejected and part of written examination appeared by him/her shall not be evaluated.
