IBPS RRB 2018- The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will hold an online Written Exam, named IBPS RRB Exam 2018 for recruitment to the post of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”- Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks. The IBPS RRB Prelims Examination for Officer Scale I and Office Assistants will be conducted in online mode on 11, 12, 18, 19 & 25 August 2018, 01 September 2018 whereas the online test for Officers Scale II & III Posts will be held on 30 September 2018. The IBPS RRB exam dates of Main are 30 September 2018 and 07 October 2018 for Officer Scale- I and Office Assistant, respectively. The IBPS RRB 2018 notification has been released on 06 June 2018 and the online registration for the Common Recruitment Process (CWE for RRBs-VII) has been commenced from 08 June 2018. Candidates need to be aware of the complete eligibility criteria, application process, and selection norms before applying for the IBPS RRB 2018 Exam. IBPS RRB 2018- Eligibility Criteria

Nationality– Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the examination. However, candidates belong to any of the listed conditions can also apply for the exam.

  • A subject of Nepal or
  • A subject of Bhutan or
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories listed in (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) must possess a certificate of eligibility, issued by the Government of India.

Sex– Both Male & Female candidates are eligible for examination

IBPS RRB Age Limits (on 1 August 2018)

  • For Officer Scale- III- Candidate’s age must be between 21 years – 40 years i.e. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 03 July 1978 and after than 30 June 1997 (both dates inclusive)
  • For Officer Scale- II- Candidate’s age must be between 21 years – 32 years i.e. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 03 July 1986 and later than 30 June 1997 (both dates inclusive)
  • For Officer Scale- I (General Banking Officer) – Candidate’s age must be between 18 years – 30 years i.e. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 03 July 1988 and later than 30 June 2000 (both dates inclusive)
  • For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Candidate’s age must be between 18 years and 28 years i.e. Candidates should have not been born earlier than 02 July 1990 and later than 01 July 2000 (both dates inclusive)

Minimum Educational Qualifications

  • For Officer Scale- III– Candidates must possess a Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University or its equivalent.
  • For Officer Scale- II– Candidates must possess a Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University or its equivalent. Besides, they must have the knowledge of regional language and proficient in computers
  • For Officer Scale- I (General Banking Officer)– Candidates must possess a Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Besides, they must have the knowledge of regional language and proficient in computers.
  • For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Candidates must possess a Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Besides, they must have the knowledge of regional language and proficient in computers.

IBPS RRB 2018 Application Form

Only eligible candidates need to apply for the IBPS RRB Exam 2018. Hence, aspirants need to read the complete IBPS RRB eligibility criteria.

Application fee- In order to complete the registration process of IBPS RRB Exam, candidates have to submit the prescribed application fee through online mode only.

Officer (Scale I, II & III)

  • Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
  • Rs. 600/- for all others

Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

  • – Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates.

IBPS RRB 2018 Selection Process

Candidates need to pass every stage of the selection process with minimum cut off marks in order to get recruited to the post of Officers and Office Assistant in the Regional Rural Banks. The stages of the selection processes are Written Exam, and Personal Interview.

IBPS RRB 2018 Admit Card

The admit card of IBPS RRB 2018 will be released 03 weeks prior to the examination. Candidates who applied for the test will be able to download the call letter from the official website of IBPS. The exam authority will release separate admit cards for each phase of the examination. Candidates will need their application number and the date of birth/ password to download the IBPS RRB Admit card. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall without possessing the call letter.

IBPS RRB 2018 Result

IBPS will release the result for prelims examination within 03 weeks after the exam conduction. The result will be updated on its official website wherein candidates have to provide their roll number and password to access the IBPS RRB result.

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks / scores in interview for Officers Scale I, II and III will not be less than 40% (35% for SC / ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The relative weightage (ratio) of CWE and interview will be 80:20 respectively for the Officers cadre.
