IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2020- IBPS will release the eligibility criteria of IBPS RRB 2020 exam with the official notification. IBPS RRB 2020 eligibility criteria includes the age limit, educational qualification, nationality and more. Aspirants must satisfy all IBPS RRB eligibility criteria 2020 before applying for the exam. Institute of Banking Personnel and Selection (IBPS) recruits the eligible candidates to the post of Office Assistant and Officers through the mentioned examination. The IBPS RRB 2020 online examination will be conducted in the month of August/ September 2020. Below is the complete IBPS RRB 2020 eligibility criteria for convenience of the candidates.

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2020- Age Limit

IBPS has specified the minimum and maximum IBPS RRB age limit. Each applicant should satisfy the provided IBPS RRB eligibility norms-

Post IBPS RRB 2020 Age Limit
Officer Scale- III Between 21 years to 40 years

i.e. Candidates should be born after than 03 July 1976 and earlier than 30 June 1994 (both dates inclusive)

Officer Scale- II Between 21 years to 32 years 

i.e. Candidates should be born after 03 July 1984 and before 30 June 1995 (both dates inclusive)

Officer Scale- I Between 18 years to 30 years

i.e. Candidates should be born after 03 July 1985 and before 30 June 1998 (both dates inclusive)

Office Assistant (Multipurpose) Between 18 years to 28 years 

i.e. Candidates should be born after 02 July 1987 and before 01 July 1997 (both dates inclusive)

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2020- Educational Qualifications

Below is the minimum education qualification for IBPS RRB 2020 exams along with the experience-

Office Assistant (Multipurpose) Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent however, candidates having a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Pisciculture, Information Technology, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy
Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks. 

Candidates having a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Pisciculture, Information Technology, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Besides, candidates should be proficient in local languages and must have knowledge of Computer

Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks.

Candidates having a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Pisciculture, Information Technology, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. 

At least 02 years of experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution
Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager) IT Officer- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Communication / Information Technology/ Computer Science with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University or its equivalent. Candidates having Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc. are desired. Min. 1 year’s experience
Chartered Accountant- Completed Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Min. 1 year’s experience as CA
Law Officer – Law Degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university/ institute Min. 2 year’s experience
Treasury Manager-  Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution.  Min. 1 year’s experience
Marketing Officer- MBA in Marketing from a recognized university Min. 1 year’s experience
Agricultural Officer- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture with a min. of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university or its equivalent. Min. 2 year’s experience
Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University or its equivalent.

Preference will be given to candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Horticulture, Forestry, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Law, Information Technology, Management, Economics and Accountancy

Min. 5 year’s experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2020- Nationality

Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the IBPS RRB Exam. However, candidates belonging to any of the listed conditions can also eligible for IBPS RRB 2020-

  • Candidates belonging to Nepal or
  • Candidates belonging to Nepal or
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962 for permanently settling in India or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories listed in (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) must possess a certificate of IBPS RRB eligibility, issued by the Government of India.
