SSC JE Eligibility 2021

SSC JE Eligibility 2021– Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the eligibility of SSC JE 2020 on October 1. SSC JE 2020 Eligibility includes the minimum and maximum SSC JE age limit, nationality, qualifying percentage, SSC JE medical eligibility and more. Before filling the SSC JE application form, candidates should read and meet all the SSC JE eligibility 2021 criteria. According to the SSC JE 2021 eligibility criteria, the upper age limit to apply for Department of posts and Military engineering services is 27 years. Whereas the maximum SSC JE age limit for other departments is 32 years. Along with this, candidates should have engineering degree or diploma to apply for SSC Junior Engineer 2020 exam.

SSC Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Exam 2020 (Paper 1) will be held on March 22 to 25, 2021. SSC JE Eligibility 2020-21 Age Limit

The age limit as per the SSC JE eligibility criteria 2020 should be between 18 to 32 years. However, the SSC JE upper age limit is different for a few departments. Check the age limit for SSC JE 2020 in the given table

 SSC JE Eligibility 2020-21- Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a full-time degree or diploma in different engineering specialisation. As per the SSC JE 2021 eligibility, candidates having degree or diploma from open or distance learning mode are not eligible for the exam. Below is the department-wise SSC JE exam eligibility

02 years of working experience in the relevant field of Engineering in the area of construction in monitoring and executive of projects.
MES Diploma in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute or equivalent qualification.

02 years of working experience in the relevant field of Engineering in the area of construction in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering works.

Passed Intermediate examination in Building and Quantity Surveying Sub Divisional -II of the institute of Surveyors (India).

SSC JE Eligibility 2021 Nationality

Candidates must satisfy the listed norms for nationality-

  • An Indian Citizen
  • A Citizen of Nepal
  • A Citizen of Bhutan
  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidates who belong to the categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) need to produce a valid eligibility certificate, issued by the Government of India.

      Yes, you are eligible to appear in exam but make sure you have all the marksheet at the time for interview. Also, check the age limit.
