- CGL Tier 1 will be a computer based examination.
- For each wrong answer, 0.50 marks will be deducted as negative marking.
- The duration of Tier 1 is 01 hour.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2026 Tier 2 (Revised)
The Tier 2 exam of SSC CGL 2026 will be held in 2 sections- Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- Paper I is Compulsory for all posts.
- Paper 2 will be conducted for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
