SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2018– Candidates who are willing to appear in the SSC CGL 2018, named as Combined Graduate Level examination, must satisfy all the norms of SSC CGL 2018 Eligibility Criteria. The Tier 1 Exam is likely to be held from 25 July to 20 August 2018 whereas the Tier 2 will be conducted on 27- 30 November 2018. SSC conducts Combined Graduate Level Examination, every year, for recruitment of eligible candidates for Group-B & Goup-C posts under various Ministries, Departments & Organisations of Government. Before filling the SSC CGL Application form, candidates must read all the eligibility conditions. SSC will reject the application form of SSC CGL 2018 without any prior information. SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2018- Nationality

A candidate must be either-

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 01 January, 1962 with the motive to permanently settle in India, or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the motive to permanently settle in India.

Candidates who belongs to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) must produce a certificate of eligibility, issued by the Government of India.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2018- Educational Qualification (as on 1 August 2018)

  • Compiler– To apply for this post, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as a compulsory or Elective subject.
  • Statistical Investigator (Grade – II)- To apply for this post, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with at least 60% in Mathematics at Intermediate level from a recognized University or Institute OR a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
  • All other Posts– To apply for this post, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • For Assistants (CSS) Post– Candidates need to qualify a Computer Proficiency Test as an Essential Qualification
