CLAT Exam Pattern 2025– Consortium of NLUs will release the exam pattern of CLAT 2025. The CLAT 2025 exam pattern provides the details of test duration, mode of the exam, maximum marks, number of questions and more. CLAT exam pattern 2025 will be different for undergraduate aspirants and postgraduate aspirants. CLAT 2025 is scheduled to be held in November 2024. In the CLAT exam, the questions will be asked from General Knowledge, English, Logical Reasoning, Elementary mathematics, Criminal law, and other laws. CLAT Exam Pattern 2025
Below given points of CLAT 2025 exam pattern will be considered to develop the question paper-
- CLAT 2025 will be conducted in offline mode.
- The candidates will be allotted a time duration of 02 hours to complete CLAT exam. No extra time will be provided to the candidates.
- The maximum marks of the paper is 150.
- There will be a total of 150 MCQs in Undergraduate/ LLB admission test.
- The question paper will be a total of 100 marks containing 100 MCQs for LL.M. Admission Test.
- Each question will be carrying 1 mark.
- Each question will have four options as an answer. The candidates will have to choose the correct answer according to them.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong response.
- No mark will be deducted for un-attempted questions.

CLAT Exam Pattern 2025 for PG Courses
- Candidates have to secure 40% (35% for SC, ST & PWD) marks to qualify for evaluation of descriptive answers.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong response.
- A total of 100 questions of one mark each will be available in CLAT 2020 paper.
- There will be a subject paper of 50 Marks  (Two Essay type questions each of 25 Marks, 800 words per essay)
- The questions will be asked on the topics of law and contemporary issues.
