CLAT 2019- National Law University, Odisha has released the official notification of CLAT 2019. The online application forms will be released online on 10 January 2019. CLAT 2019 will be held in pen and paper mode on 12 May 2019 (3 PM to 05 PM). to evaluate candidates’ knowledge and skills on various subjects i.e Logical Reasoning, English, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Legal Aptitude. Aspirants must have passed the class XII or equivalent exams with at least 45% marks to apply for CLAT 2019.

All the communication related to the CLAT Exam 2019 will be made through its official website, www.clat.ac.inEvery year, a national level exam, Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted for admission to five-year integrated undergraduate and postgraduate courses. CLAT Examination is conducted on a rotational basis by 19 National Law Universities (NLUs). Read the complete article to know complete details about CLAT 2019-

CLAT 2019 Eligibility

There is no age limit to apply for CLAT 2019.

Eligibility for UG Courses

  • Aspirants must have qualified the class XII or equivalent with an aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in the month of March/ April 2019 will also be eligible for CLAT 2019.

Eligibility for PG Courses

  • Aspirants must have qualified the LLB, five-year integrated LLB (Hons) and/or any other equivalent exam with 55% marks in aggregate (50% marks for SC/ST Candidates).
  • Candidates who are appearing in the last semester/ year of the qualifying examination will also be eligible for CLAT 2019.

CLAT 2019 Admission Process

The admission of the candidates will be done on the basis of their merit or rank in their result. The rank will be allotted on the basis of their performance in the exam. The admission, to the candidates, will be provided through the counselling round. A common counselling round will be conducted, in which, the candidates will be called on the basis of their ranks. The institutes and the courses will be allotted on the basis of their choices and rank in the CLAT 2019.

CLAT 2019 Application Form 

The application process for CLAT 2019 will be commenced from 10 January 2019. The candidates will be able to apply via online mode only. The last date to submit the online application form is likely to fall in the last week of March 2019. Candidates will have to provide all the required details and also upload the documents. These documents are:

  • Class X mark sheet.
  • Class XII mark sheet.
  • Recent photograph.
  • Candidate’s signature.

Once the application form is completed, candidates have to pay the application fee. It can be paid either via online mode only.

Steps to Apply for CLAT 2019 Exam

Candidates must follow the below given steps to apply for CLAT 2019

  • Visit the official website, clat.ac.in and register online by providing the details like name, date of birth, address etc.
  • Login to your account by using provisional ID and password for completing the application form
  • Candidates need to fill in the necessary details and upload the scanned copies of documents in the mentioned format and size.
  • Pay CLAT 2019 application fee through debit card, internet banking, credit card, bank challan etc.
  • Candidates should download the confirmation page of completely filled application form for future use.

CLAT 2019 Admit Card

The admit card was released only for the candidates those who have successfully submitted their application for the exam. It will be available via online mode only. Candidates can download it from third week of April 2019 from the official website of CLAT or from this page (we will also host the link here). They must carry their admit card to the exam hall otherwise, they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall and write their exam.

CLAT 2019 Result

The result of CLAT 2019 is expected to be released in the last week of May 2019. The result will be published on the official website only. Candidates who will appear in the exam will be able to check it by providing the asked details such as roll number, registration number, DOB etc. Candidates have to download the scorecard and keep it safe till the conclusion of admission process.

CLAT 2019 Counselling

The counselling process is likely to be conducted in the month of June 2019. Candidates who will obtain the equal and more marks than cut off will be called for the counselling process. The counselling will be done through online process and it will include various steps such as online registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification and more. The counselling schedule will be released after declaring the result.
