Previously, it is was scheduled on 22 January 2017 but due to UGC NET Exam, it is postponed to 20 January (Friday). The admit card for the same will be issued on 10 January 2017. The official notification of SBI SO 2017 Recruitment has been issued online on 04 October 2016. Only eligible candidates will be able to fill the online application form. The online registration process was concluded on 22 October 2016. SBI SO 2017 Selection Procedure
According to the selection procedure of the SBI SO 2017 Exam, suitable candidates will be shortlisted after evaluating their performance in the online written examination and personal interview. Online Test will be conducted on 22 January 2017 and the candidates who will qualify the written test will be called to attend the Personal Interview, to be held in February 2017 (tentatively).
For Contractual Positions
Selection will be made by merit list and interview.
Interview- Only an adequate number of candidates will be called for Interview, decided by the Bank. After that merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates.

SBI SO 2017 Application Form
The application forms of the SBI Specialist Officer 2017 Examination was issued, online, on 04 October 2016 and the candidates who satisfy all the eligibility conditions will be able to apply online till 22 October 2016. The online application forms will be uploaded on the official website of the State Bank of India. Direct link to apply online for SBI SO 2017 will also be provided in this article. Candidates should also submit the prescribed application fee as no application form will be accepted without the fee.

- For SC/ST/PWD- Rs. 100/- (Intimation Charges only)
- For General and others- Rs. 600/- (App. Fee including intimation only)
For Contractual Positions
Candidates applying for contractual positions need have to send the hard copy of computer generated application form along with necessary documents (date of birth, experience, educational qualification certificate, caste certificates ( if belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer categories). The forms must be duly signed and pasted with their recent passport size photographs.
