PSTET 2022 – Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will release the online application form for Punjab Tearcher’s Eligibility Test 2022 in November. PSTET or Punjab TET 2022 registration link will be available at pstet.pseb.ac.in. The last date to apply for PSTET 2022 will fall in December 2022. Candidates who meet all the eligibility criteria can apply online for the PSTET exam 2022 before the last date. PSTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants have to satisfy all the mentioned eligibility criteria in order to apply  for the PSTET 2022 Exam. Ineligible candidates will not be allowed to appear in the Punjab TET Exam 2022.

Minimum Educational Qualifications for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- yr Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-yr Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.

OR

Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (passed or appearing).

Minimum Educational Qualifications for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage)

Graduate Degree with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (passed or appearing in final year)

OR

Graduate Degree with a minimum of 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) (passed or appearing)

OR

Graduate Degree with a minimum 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) (passed or appearing), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

PSTET 2022 Exam Pattern

  • The PSTET Exam Paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with 04 alternatives having 01 correct answers.
  • For each correct answer, one mark will be awarded and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answer

There will be two papers of PSTET

(i) Paper I- Candidates who want to be a teacher for classes I to V can apply for this paper

(ii) Paper II- Candidates who want to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII can apply for this paper

Note: If a candidate wants to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) then he/she has to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

(i) Child Development and Pedagogy 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) Language I (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iii) Language II (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) Mathematics 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) Environmental Studies 30 MCQs 30 Marks
TOTAL   150 MCQs 150 Marks

Punjab TET Paper 2 Pattern

(i) Child Development & Pedagogy(compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) Language I (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iii) Language II (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) Mathematics and Science (for Mathematics and Science teacher) 60 MCQs 60 Marks
(iv) Social Studies/Social Science (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher) 60 MCQs 60 Marks
TOTAL   150 MCQs 150 Marks

PSTET 2022 Application Form

PSTET 2022 Application Fee

  • For general category Rs.600/-
  • For SC/ST category / Differently Abled – Rs.300/-,
  • For Ex-serviceman (Self) – NIL (for each test)

PSTET 2022 Admit Card

The admit card of Punjab TET 2022 Exam will be uploaded on its official website in December 2022. If any candidate faces issues in downloading the admit card or encounters any discrepancy in the mentioned details such as candidate’s photograph, signature or any other details then immediately contact PSTET officials for necessary corrections.

Punjab TET 2022 Answer Key

The exam authorities will release the answer key of PSTET 2022 in January 2023 at pstet.pseb.ac.in. Candidates will need their application number and password to download the Punjab TET answer key 2022. The answer key of PSTET exam 2022 will help candidates to calculate their scores in the exam.

PSTET 2022 Result

The result of Punjab TET 2022 will be declared in the month of January 2023. Candidates will be able to check the PSTET exam result on its official website by providing their roll number and other asked details in the specified spaces.
