PSTET Exam Pattern 2024- PSEB releases the exam pattern of PSTET 2024. To crack the Punjab TET exam, candidates must have the detailed knowledge of PSTET 2024 exam pattern. PSTET exam pattern includes total number of question asked, test duration, type of questions and more. As per PSTET exam pattern 2024, there will be two papers, Paper I for classes I to V & Paper II for classes VI to VIII. Punjab State Teacher’s Eligibility Test 2024 will be conducted by Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) in December 2024.
Punjab TET 2024 is an eligibility test for aspirants who want to get recruited on the post of Teacher in Government schools of Punjab. Candidates whose PSTET application form will be accepted before the last date will shortly receive their PSTET admit card. For the convenience of the candidates, we have provided the details of the PSTET 2024 exam pattern.
PSTET Exam Pattern 2024
- PSTET Exam Paper will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in each paper, with 04 options having 01 correct answers.
- For every correct answer, one mark will be given and no marks will be deducted for wrong answer as there is no negative marking.
- Question paper will be bilingual i.e. English & Punjabi
- Duration of both the exam will be 1.30 hours
There will be two papers of PSTET 2024
- (i) Paper I- Candidates who want to be a teacher for classes I to V can apply for this paper
- (ii) Paper II- Candidates who want to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII can apply for this paper
Note: If a candidate wants to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) then he/she has to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).
PSTET Exam Pattern 2024 for Paper 1
Punjab TET Paper 1 Pattern– The questions on Child Development and Pedagogy will emphasize on educational psychology of teaching and learning related to the age group of 6-11 years. They will focus on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.

They will focus on understanding the characteristics, needs and psychology of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.

Candidates must attain a minimum of 60% marks to qualify the PSTET 2024 Exam. Candidates will be able to check their scores and eligibility status in PSTET result.
