HP SET 2019- Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) will hold State Eligibility Test 2019 in the month of May 2019 at Shimla, Solan, Mandi and Kangra. It is a state level eligibility test wherein candidate’s eligibility will be tested for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges of Himachal Pradesh State. The HP SET 2019 will be conducted in 19 Subjects. Eligible candidates can apply for test from the second week of November 2018 to December 2018. HP SET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit– There is no upper age limit to apply for appearing in SET 2019.
Educational Qualification– Candidates must have possessed a Master’s Degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (without rounding off) from UGC Recognized universities/institutions. A relaxation of 5% in minimum marks has been provided for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) /Scheduled Tribe (ST) /Other Backward Classes (Non- creamy layer/ Persons with Disability (PWD) category.

Eligible candidates who satisfy all the eligibility norms can apply online for the HPPSC State Eligibility Test 2019 from second week of November 2018. HP SET 2019 Exam Pattern
- The test will be conducted in offline or pen and paper mode.
- All the questions asked in the test will be of multiple choice or objective type.
- There will be 03 papers to be completed in 02 sessions.
- The paper 1 & 2 will be of 75 minutes duration while the paper 3 will be of 150 minutes.
