How to Prepare of CAT 2018 While Working?

  • Total Questions: 100
  • Number of sections: 3
  • Questions with negative marking (MCQs): 75
  • Questions without negative marking (Non-MCQs): 25
  • Score awarded for each correct answer: 3 marks
  • Negative marking (Applicable for wrong answers in MCQs): -1 mark

CAT 2018 Syllabus

How to Prepare for CAT 2018? Subject wise Tips

  1. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension is the trickiest section as you will face a variety of questions here. Practice a lot on various reasoning questions focusing on the current trends involved in the exam pattern. Reading newspaper daily will help you to score well in grammar and Vocabulary.
  2. Data Interpretation and logical reasoning are considered as the hardest section as it involves analytical knowledge about subjects. Daily practice with a lot of revision may help crack it easily. For logical reasoning start solving questions with short tricks to save your time for other subjects.
  3. In Quantitative Aptitude, you need to prepare a revised plan to solve the questions with accuracy. Don’t get distracted while solving this section, be focused and solve the questions with a cool mind for a better result.
