SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria 2018– To apply online for SSC Stenographer 2018 Examination, candidates must check the complete details of eligibility norms and conditions. Only candidates who meet the SSC Stenographer 2018 Eligibility Criteria can apply online for the examination. SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria includes the minimum age limit, educational qualification, age relaxation, nationality and more. The online SSC Stenographer 2018 application form has been issued online on 22 October 2018 and aspirants will be able to fill the online form till 19 November 2018. SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria 2018- Nationality

A candidate’s nationality must fall in either of the

  • An Indian Citizen, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1 January 1962 with the intention to settle in India permanently, or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Malawi, Zaire, Zambia, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention to settle in India permanently

Candidates belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) must produce a valid certificate of eligibility, issued by the Government of India.

SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria 2018- Age Limit

For Stenographer Grade ‘C’- Candidate’s age must be between 18-30 years as on 01 January 2019 i.e. They should be born after 02 January 1989 and before 01 January 2001.

For Stenographer Grade ‘D’- Candidate’s age must be between 18-27 years as on 01 January 2019 i.e. They should be born after 02 January 1992 and before 01 January 2001.

Age Relaxation

Relaxation in upper age limit will be provided to the candidates belonging to reserve categories as per Government norms. Details are as below

SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria 2018- Educational Qualification

Candidates must have qualified 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
