SSC JHT Syllabus 2024 for Paper 1
- General Hindi- 100 marks (Objective type)
- General English- 100 marks (Objective type)
Candidate’s understanding will be tested through this paper. Candidates should have good knowledge of the languages and literature, phrases and idioms, correct use of words, and ability to write the languages correctly, precisely and effectively.
Degree level questions will be asked in this paper. Hence, candidates should have good knowledge of both the languages.
In this paper, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer as negative marking. Hence, answer to those questions only for which you are confident.
SSC JHT Syllabus 2024 for Paper 2
Translation and Essay- 200 Marks (Conventional Type)
- In paper-2, two passages will be given for the translation-one passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi.
- After that candidates have to write an essay each in Hindi and English. The paper will be conducted to test the candidates’ translation skills and their ability to write as well as comprehend the two languages correctly, precisely and effectively. The level of the paper will be consistent with the educational qualifications prescribed.
- There is no negative marking in this section.
