UGC NET Application Form 2026- NTA (National Testing Agency) has released the online application form for UGC NET 2026 for June exam on April 29. NTA UGC NET 2026 application form link is updated on ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates have to fill the asked details, upload scanned images and pay the exam fee to complete the UGC NET 2026 registration.

UGC-NET June 2026 will be conducted from June 22 to 30, 2026 in online mode i.e Computer Based Test (CBT) to determine the eligibility ‘only for Assistant Professor’ and ‘for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor both’ in Indian universities and colleges. Aspirants have to follow the below mentioned steps in order to apply online for UGC NET June 2026.

Step-1- Fill UGC NET Application Form

Click the above link or visit the main web portal, ugcnet.nta.nic.in to register for UGC NET June 2026. Candidates have to enter the below mention details in the registration form-

• State of Residence
• Identification Type & its details
• Candidate’s Name & Date of Birth
• Gender
• Security Pin

After registration, a computer generated application number will be generated. Candidates have to login again to the portal with the help of application number and password to access the blank UGC NET 2026 application form. Fill the remaining information in the given blanks.

• Candidate’s Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name
• Date of Birth
• Communication Address and Permanent Address with Pin Code
• Four cities for Centres of your choice
• Code of NET Subject

Step-2- Upload Scanned Images

The next step is to upload the images of photograph and signature. Make sure you upload the images in the specified size else the images will not be accepted.

Candidates have to upload their scanned images of photograph and signature in the NTA UGC NET application form. All the images should be in jpg/jpeg format only.
