GATE 2027- GOAPS Registration Date, Eligibility, Pattern
GATE 2027- IIT Madras has started the GATE 2027 registration date at official website, gate2027.iitm.ac.in. GATE brochure 2027 is released on July 20. IIT Madras will conduct the GATE 2027, also known as Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, on February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21, 2027. GATE exam is conducted for the admission of the candidates in the M.Tech/ M.E. programs. The last date for online registration of GATE exam 2027 is September 21. Eligible candidates should submit the filled GATE application forms before the deadline. There is no age limit to apply for GATE 2027.

GATE 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates appearing for the GATE exam must satisfy the eligibility norms mentioned on gate2027.iitm.ac.in. The eligibility conditions required to be fulfilled by the candidates are provided below in the table:

GATE 2027 Application Form
The application form for GATE 2027 will be available via online mode only. Candidates can complete their registration through GATE Online Application Processing System. They will have to provide all the details and upload a scanned photograph in the application form. They must also keep their degree, category certificate, etc ready with them. Along with that, they need to pay 2000/- as an application fee. For women candidates, SC, ST and PWD candidates, they will have to pay 1000/-.
- For GATE International candidates, the application fee is US Dollars 50. GATE 2027 application fee payments can be done either through online by using net banking or debit card or e-challan facilities.

GATE 2027 Exam Pattern
- The GATE 2027 examination consists of a single paper of 3-hour duration that contains 65 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks.
- The question paper will consist of both multiple choice questions (MCQ) and numerical answer type (NAT) questions.
- The examination will be carried out in an ONLINE Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
GATE 2027 Preparation Tips

- Study Material: Utilize standard textbooks, previous years’ question papers, and online resources. Many candidates also opt for GATE preparation books and coaching classes.

GATE 2027 Admit Card
The admit card will be released only for the candidates who have completed their registration for GATE 2027. The incomplete and the incorrect application forms will be rejected without any prior information. Without the admit card, they will not be allowed to appear in the exam. GATE exam admit card can only be downloaded from the official portal from January 2. No Admit Cards shall be sent by post/email.
GATE Mock Test 2027
GATE 2027 Mock Test link for all subjects will be updated here after official release. The mock test will be updated on the GATE 2027 official website. GATE Mock test helps in understanding the exam pattern and type of question asked. Along with the GATE 2027 mock test, candidates should also refer to the exam pattern and syllabus.
GATE 2027 Response Sheet
IIT Madras will release the GATE 2027 response sheets within one week of exam completion. Candidates will be able to download the response sheet from GOAPS 2027 portal by entering their enrollment ID and password. The response sheet will contain responses of candidates filled during the exam.
GATE 2027 Answer Key
The official answer key for GATE 2027 will be released within 2 – 3 weeks of the completion of the exam. Candidates will be able to download the official answer key from GATE 2027 official website- gate2027.iitr.ac.in. GATE answer key 2027 will help in calculating the scores before the release of the GATE exam result. GATE 2027 answer key will contain the correct answer to all the questions asked in the question paper. GATE exam authorities will also provide a facility to challenge the official GATE answer key. Candidates will have an online window for 2-3 days to challenge the GATE 2027 answer key.
GATE 2027 Result
The result of GATE 2027 will be released by IIT Madras on March 19. Candidates will need their enrolment ID and password to download the GATE result through online mode. The candidates who obtain scores equal to more than the GATE cut off will be able to access their score card.

GATE 2027 Cut-Off
The cut-off marks for GATE 2027 will be published following the release of the exam results. GATE cut-off scores for each paper are determined by several factors, including the overall performance of the candidates, the number of individuals who appeared for the exam, the difficulty level of the test, and the previous years’ cut-off trends.
Successful candidates who meet or exceed the cut-off marks will be eligible for further processes such as counseling.
