GATE 2019- IIT Madras has released the GATE 2019 Notification and Information brochure on 06 July. However, the information was temporary. The permanent web portal for GATE 2019 will be made live in a few days. A link to access the official notification and information brochure is provided for your convenience here. GATE 2019, also known as Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, will be conducted by IIT Madras. It will be conducted for the admission of the candidates in the M. Tech/ M.E. programs. Online GATE Examination will be held on 02, 03, 09 & 10 February 2019. The online registration for GATE 2019 Exam will be commenced from 01 September 2018 and eligible candidates can submit their online application form till the last date, 01 October 2018. There is no age limit to apply for GATE 2019. Through GATE score, the candidates can get direct admission on the basis of their GATE score. GATE Eligibility Criteria 2019
GATE 2019 Exam shall be held in Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates for admissions of candidates from these nationalities in IITs and IISc.
The eligibility conditions required to be fulfilled by the candidates are provided below in the table:

GATE Application Form 2019
The application form for GATE 2019 will be available via online mode only. Candidates can complete their registration through GATE Online Application Processing System. They will have to provide all the details and upload a scanned photograph in the application form. They must also keep their degree, category certificate, etc ready with them. Along with that, they need to pay 1500/- as application fee. For women candidates, SC, ST and PWD candidates, they will have to pay 750/-.
For GATE International candidates, the application fee is US Dollars 50. GATE 2019 application fee payments can be done either through online by using net banking or debit card or e-challan facilities.

GATE Exam Pattern 2019
- The GATE 2019 examination consists of a single paper of 3-hour duration that contains 65 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks.
- The question paper will consist of both multiple choice questions (MCQ) and numerical answer type (NAT) questions.
- The examination will be carried out in an ONLINE Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
GATE Admit Card 2019
The admit card will be released only for the candidates those who have completed their registration for GATE 2019. The incomplete and the incorrect application forms will be rejected without any prior information. Without the admit card, they will not be allowed to appear in the exam. The Admit Card can only be downloaded from the official portal from the first week of January 2019. No Admit Cards shall be sent by post/email.
GATE Result 2019
The result of GATE 2019 will be released by IIT Madras in the last week of March 2018. Candidates will need their enrolment ID and password to download the GATE result through online mode. The candidates who obtain scores equal to more than the GATE cut off will be able to access their score card.
