GATE Application form 2023– IIT Kharagpur will release the application form of GATE 2023 in August 2022. Eligible candidates must fill and submit the GATE 2023 application form on or before last date. Before filling the GATE registration form, candidates need to check all the GATE eligibility conditions. The exam conducting authority will not entertain any hard copy of GATE 2023 registration form at its postal address. Also, no candidate will be able to download the GATE admit card without successfully submitting the application form of GATE 2023. Other details for the application form has been provided below. GATE 2023 will be conducted in February 2023 for admission to Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and in relevant branches of Science. GATE 2023 application form filling process includes online GATE registration 2023, filling online form, fee payment and uploading of scanned documents.

How to Submit GATE Application form 2023 Online?
It is suggested to complete the given step-wise GATE registration 2023 process before the last date. In order to fill and submit their GATE 2023 application form, the candidates can simply follow the points provided below:
Step-1- Online Registration Through GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS)
Candidates have to register on the GOAPS website, available in August 2022. To register online, enter a valid e-mail address, mobile number and select a password. The mobile number and email ID should be active and valid.
Step-2- Filling GATE Application Form 2023
Candidates will receive a computer generated enrollment ID and password on their registered email ID after successful registration. Log-in to your account by using GOAPS Enrollment ID and password to access the GATE 2023 application form. Fill all the blank fields with correct information. Below mentioned fields will be available in the application form-
- Personal Details including Name, Parent’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number
- Communication Address
- College’s Name and Address
- Qualifying Exam details
- Exam Centres Preference
- GATE Paper
- Details of the valid ID proof (Passport, Voter ID, College ID, PAN card, Aadhaar-UID, Driving License and Employee ID)
Step-3- Upload Required Documents
Candidates have to re-check the filled details for error and make the correction, if required. After that click on the “Submit” tab, a new window will appear on the computer screen where you need to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in GATE 2023 application form. All the images should be uploaded in JPG format. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/ Pwd category should upload the required certificates issued ONLY by the authorized officials. Step-4- Payment of Application Fee
After uploading required document in the GATE application form 2023, candidates should pay the requisite application fee. The application fee will not be refunded in any circumstance. The only mode to pay the application fee is online through net banking or credit card or debit card. Below are the application fee details according to the category of applicants.

Step-5- Download Confirmation Page
After successful submission of GATE 2023 application form, a confirmation page will appear on your screen. Candidates need to download the confirmation page and keep it safe till the completion of admission or recruitment process.
GATE Application Form 2023 Correction
IIT Madras will review all the GATE 2023 application forms to check whether the documents are uploaded correctly or not. In case of any error, an intimation to rectify the errors will be sent to the candidates. Applicants have to log-in to their GOAPS account, make the changes and pay a certain fee to in the specified time else, their GATE application form 2023 will be rejected. The GATE form correction will be started in November 2022. Candidates will also be able to change the GATE examination centre.
