WBJEE Exam Pattern 2024
The question paper will be based on Objective Questions. The candidates will be given four options for every question asked in the exam. The candidates will have to mark their answers in the OMR sheet provided to them. Along with the exam pattern, candidates should check the WBJEE syllabus. The questions will be divided into three categories.
- WBJEE 2024 will be conducted in pen and paper mode.
- The duration of the test will be 04 Hours.
- The total marks will be 200 Marks
- There will be 155 question in WBJEE 2024.

WBJEE Exam Pattern 2024 (Category 1)
As per the WBJEE question paper pattern, the questions in this category will be of 1 mark each. There will be only single correct answer from the provided options. For every incorrect answer, 25% of the marks, i.e., 1/4 mark will be deducted.
WBJEE Exam Pattern 2024 (Category 2)
In this category, there will be only single correct answer from the provided options. For the correct answer, the candidates will be provided 2 marks and for every incorrect answer, 25% or 1/2 mark will be deducted.
WBJEE 2024 Exam Pattern (Category 3)
In this category of questions, there might be one or more than one correct answer. In order to get full marks for the answer, the candidates will have to mark all the correct answers. In this category, there is no negative marking for the incorrect answers.
