JMI EEE 2017, or Jamia Milia Islamia Engineering Entrance Examination, will be conducted by Jamia Milia Islamia. It will be carried out for the admission of the candidates in the engineering courses. From 2016, the admission in B. Tech/ B. Arch is given by the candidate’s performance in JEE Main. Therefore from 2016, the candidates will have to appear in JEE Main exam and also fill the JMI admission application form. In this article, we are providing all the related information so that the interested candidates can apply accordingly.
JMI EEE 2017 Important Dates-
The application form for the JEE Main will be available from the first week of December 2016 and can be submitted till the last week of December 2016. The JMI EEE 2017 admission application form will be available from the last week of December 2016 and can be submitted till the last week of January 2017. The admit card for the JEE Main 2017will be available from the second week of March 2017. The offline and the online exam will be conducted in April 2017. The JEE result will be available in the last week of April 2017, and the display of the JMI selected candidates’ list will be done in the second week of July 2017. The commencement of the admission formalities in B. Tech and B. Arch will be in the second and third week of July 2017 respectively.
JMI EEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates will have to satisfy all the eligibility criteria for the exam as the ineligible candidates are not allowed to appear in it. Below we have provided the points for the eligibility conditions of the exam.
- The age of the candidate must not be less than 17 years.
- For B. Tech, the candidates must have passed Class XII with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as the main subjects. They must have also secured an aggregate of 50% in PCM. The candidates with 3-4 year diploma in engineering with at least 55% aggregate marks are eligible as well.
- For B. Arch, the candidates must have passed Class XII with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics, Physics, English and Chemistry as the main subjects, OR, the candidates with the 3-year Diploma recognized by Central or State government and 50% marks are eligible as well.
JMI EEE 2017 Application Form:
The candidates those who are interested in JMI EEE 2017 will have to register and appear in the JEE Main 2017 first and also submit the JMI admission application form. The candidates will be allotted seat by JMI’s admission procedure, eligibility criteria, reservation norms, etc. The candidates will also have to pay 500/- as application fee for JMI admission application form. It can be paid through credit card, debit card, net banking or through challan generated at the time of filling the online form.
