IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria 2018- IBPS has released the Official Notification of IBPS SO 2018. The online registration for IBPS Specialist Officer 2018 examination will be commenced from 06 November 2018. IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria 2018- Nationality
A candidate must be either –
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the decision to permanently settle
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,
provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria 2018- Age Limit
Candidates should have an age between 20 years to 30 years as on 01 November 2018 i.e. a candidate must have been born after 02 November 1988 and before 01 November 1998 (both dates inclusive). Relaxation in upper age limit is also provided to the candidates who belong to mentioned reserved categories.
- For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe- 05 Years
- For Other Backward Classes- 03 Years
- For Persons With Disability- 10 Years
- For Ex-Servicemen- 05 Years
- For Persons ordinarily domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 1 January 1980 to 31 December 1989- 05 Years
- For Persons affected by 1984 riots- 05 Years
