CMAT 2019- NTA has released the information brochure of CMAT 2019. The Common Management Admission Test 2019 will be conducted in a Computer-based mode on 28 January 2019. The online registration for CMAT Exam has been commenced from 01 November 2018 on https://ntacmat.nic.in. Eligible candidates can submit their online application form till 30 November 2018. CMAT 2019 is a computer-based online test which will be conducted at the national level for admission of candidates in AICTE-Approved Institutions/ Constituent Colleges/University Departments/Affiliated Colleges. It will be conducted to evaluate candidate’s ability on various sections like Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Technique, General Awareness and Language Comprehension. CMAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The application forms of ineligible candidates will be rejected without any prior information. Hence, candidates have to read the CMAT eligibility criteria before filling the online form for CMAT 2019. Below we have provided the eligibility conditions that must be satisfied by the candidates-

  1. They must be a citizen of India.
  2. They must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
  3. Final year students can also apply for the exam.
  4. There is no age limit to apply for CMAT 2019

CMAT 2019 Application Form

The CMAT registration has been commenced from 01 November 2018 and will end on 30 November 2018. The registration process includes three steps:

Step 1- Online Registration

First of all, the candidates will have to click NEW USER and accept the declaration. Now they will have to register themselves for the exam by providing the required details. On submitting the page, they will get a password. The candidates will have to log in again using their registered details and the unique password.

Step 2- Fee Payment

Next, they will have to pay the application fee for the exam. It can be paid either via online or offline mode as well. It is necessary for the candidates to pay the application fee as without it the form will not be considered complete.

Once the payment for CMAT 2019 is completed. They will have to complete the remaining part of the form. They must make sure that the details provided by them are correct and complete. The incomplete and the incorrect applications will be rejected under any circumstances. They will have to pay 1400/- as application fee. The candidates of SC, ST, PD categories will have to pay 700/- only.

NOTE: The admission will be granted on the basis of the counselling process. If there is no counselling, then their score will be considered for the admission process.

Application Fee

To complete the CMAT 2019 registration procedure, candidates have to submit a non-refundable application fee of below-mentioned amount either via online mode or offline mode. Through offline mode, candidates have to download the challan form and submit the cash amount at any SBI Bank branch in India while through online mode candidates can pay the fee by Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking. The application fee is-

  • For General Category – Rs. 1400/- + Bank Charges
  • For Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC) – Rs. 700/- + Bank Charges

CMAT 2019 Exam Pattern

The CMAT Exam pattern contains questions from 04 different sections that are Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness. Check the below table for complete examination pattern-

  • The CMAT is a Computer-Based Test.
  • The exam duration is 180 minutes i.e. 03 hour
  • The question will be of objective type.
  • The total number of question will be 100 MCQs.
  • For every correct answer marked, 4 marks will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for marking a wrong answer.

CMAT 2019 Admit Card

The CMAT Admit Card will be issued online on 07 January 2019 on the official website of CMAT, www.aicte-cmat.in. Candidates have to log-in to their account by entering their registration number and password to download the CMAT admit card.

CMAT 2019 Exam Centres

The candidates will have to choose three dates and three cities for the examination centre. The date and exam centre will be allotted on the basis of first come and first serve.

CMAT 2019 Result

The CMAT result is tentatively to be declared on 08 February 2019 on the main website of CMAT. According to the previous year’s analysis, the result will be issued in form of a merit list that will contain the roll number, name, scores and percentile of the candidates. Candidates can download the merit list from the official website for future reference.

CMAT 2019 Selection Procedure

After the release of CMAT merit list, participating institutes start accepting the applications of candidates. Each institute will release their own merit list according to the applicant’s scores and call them for further selection process. Then selection procedure of CMAT comprises three main steps:

  • Group Discussion (GD)
  • Written Ability Test (WAT)
  • Personal Interview (PI)
