IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria 2018- IBPS has released the Official Notification of IBPS SO 2018. The online registration for IBPS Specialist Officer 2018 examination will be commenced from 06 November 2018. Candidates who are intended to fill the application form, should read all the eligibility requirements. IBPS SO 2018 Exam (Prelims) will be conducted on 29 & 30 December 2018 while the main exam will be conducted on 27 January 2019. IBPS SO 2018 Eligibility Criteria comprise of the minimum requirements under the category of age limit, educational qualification and nationality for applying for the IBPS Specialist Officer 2018. Also, make sure that you possess valid documents in order to satisfy your eligibility criteria. IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria 2018- Nationality

A candidate must be either –

(i) a Citizen of India or

(ii) a subject of Nepal or

(iii) a subject of Bhutan or

(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the decision to permanently settle

(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,

provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria 2018- Age Limit

Candidates should have an age between 20 years to 30 years as on 01 November 2018 i.e. a candidate must have been born after 02 November 1988 and before 01 November 1998 (both dates inclusive). Relaxation in upper age limit is also provided to the candidates who belong to mentioned reserved categories.

• For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe- 05 Years
• For Other Backward Classes- 03 Years
• For Persons With Disability- 10 Years
• For Ex-Servicemen- 05 Years
• For Persons ordinarily domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 1 January 1980 to 31 December 1989- 05 Years
• For Persons affected by 1984 riots- 05 Years

IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria 2018- Educational Qualifications (as on 10 December 2018)

I.T. Officer (Scale-I)–

• 4 year Engineering/ Technology Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation

OR

• Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications

OR

• Graduate having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level

Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I) – Candidates should have a graduate degree of 04 years from a recognized University/ Institute in Agriculture/ Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Agri. Engineering/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agri Marketing & Cooperation/ Co-operation & Banking/ Agro-Forestry

Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I) – Candidates should have a Post Graduate Degree in Hindi/ Sanskrit with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level

Law Officer (Scale I) –  Candidates intending to apply for this post, then he / she must have possessed a Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council.

HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I) – Candidates must have a Graduate degree and a full-time PG Degree/ Diploma in Personnel Management Labour Law.

Marketing Officer (Scale I) – Candidates must possess a graduate degree with a Full-time MMS (Marketing) / MBA (Marketing) / Full time 2 years PGDBA / PGDBM with specialization in Marketing
