NMMS Odisha 2025-26: Exam Date (OUT), Admit Card & More

SERT Odisha conducts the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) to offer 3314 numbers of scholarships (distributed among 30 districts). It is a single stage exam and no application fee is required.

NMMS Odisha Admit Card 2025

Odisha NMMS admit card is a mandatory document for appearing in the exam. The admit cards will be released on December 3, 2025 on nmms.odisha.gov.in. Schools will distribute the admit cards to registered students. Students must carry the Odisha NMMS 2025 admit card to the exam center, or they will not be allowed to appear for the test.

NMMS Odisha 2025-26 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

• There is no specified syllabus for NMMS Odisha Examination. The questions will be asked in the exam based on Class 7th and 8th syllabus.
• Odisha NMMS 2025-26 exam will have 2 sections, MAT and SAT. Both sections will have 90 questions.
• The duration for each section will be 90 minutes.
• Mental Ability Test (MAT) consisting of questions on reasoning and critical thinking. The questions may be on analogy, pattern, classification, numerical series, perception, hidden figures etc.
• Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) consists question from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Geography, Political Science and Economics.

NMMS Odisha Answer Key 2025

Odisha SCERT will release the Odisha NMMS answer key online in January 2026. Candidates can raise objections if they find any discrepancies. The final answer key will be available in February 2026.

The answer key is helpful for students to estimate their scores and evaluate their performance in both MAT (Mental Ability Test) and SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) sections.

NMMS Odisha Result 2025

SCERT Odisha will declare the NMMS Odisha result in March 2026 on the official website. Students must follow the below steps to check the Odisha NMMS exam results online

1. Visit sebexam.org
2. Select “NMMS Odisha Results”
3. Enter seat number and 18-digit Aadhaar number or date of birth
4. Click on “Submit” to view and download Odisha NMMS result

Qualified students will be eligible for a NMMS Odisha scholarship amount of INR 12,000 per year to support their education.

Odisha NMMS 2025-26 Eligibility

• Candidates belonging to General & SEBC category must have secured at least 55% marks ( 50% marks for Reserved Category (SC, ST)) in Class VII Annual Exams or its equivalent. 
• They must be studying in Class 8th during the academic session, 2025-2026 in Government / Government Aided / Local Body non- residentials schools of Odisha.  
• The parental annual income should be less than Rs.3,50,000 (Rupees Three Lakh Fifty Thousand) only.

How to Apply for NMMS Odisha 2025-26?

Students interested in the NMMS Odisha scholarship must meet the eligibility criteria before filling the online application form at nmms.odisha.gov.in. The application process will be done by respective schools only. NMMS Odisha Applications are available from August 16 to September 16, 2025. Students should contact their school authorities. Respective schools will help in completing the NMMS registration.
