KMAT 2017 is conducted for the admission of the candidates in MBA/ MCA/ PGDM courses in B-Schools of Karnataka. It stands for Karnataka Management Aptitude Test and is open for the candidates from all over the country. The application process for the exam is expected to start in the month of April 2017. KMAT 2017 Important Dates:
The application process for the exam is expected to start in the first w
eek of April 2017 and continue through the second week of May 2017. The admit card for the exam will be released in the third week of May 2017. KMAT 2017 will be conducted in the last week of May 2017 and the result for the exam will be released in the month of June 2017.
KMAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria:
To appear in the exam, the candidates must be completely eligible for it. To be eligible, they will have to fulfill all the eligibility conditions for the exam. If even a single condition remains unfulfilled, then they will not be considered complete.
The eligibility conditions required to be fulfilled for the exam are:
- For MBA/ PGDM, the candidates must have completed their graduation in Commerce, Arts, Management, Social Science, Engineering and Technology or any other equivalent.
- They must have passed their qualifying exam with at least 50% marks. Qualifying marks for SC, ST candidates is 40%.
- For MCE, the candidates must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and must have studied mathematics at XII or graduation level.
KMAT 2017 Application Form:
The candidates those who have checked their eligibility for KMAT 2017 can fill and submit their application forms. The applications must be submitted till the last date otherwise, they will not be accepted. The application forms will be available via online and offline mode as well. Candidates will have to make sure that they provide all the details in the form. The details provided by them must be correct and complete in all the aspects.
They will also have to pay the application fee as well. Without it, the form will not be considered complete. The application fee is 700/-. The fees can be paid via online or offline mode, depending on the mode of application.

KMAT 2017 Admission Process:
Any separate counselling round will not be conducted for the admission of candidates through KMAT 2017. The candidates will have to apply separately for the institutes. After the declaration of exam result, the institutes will shortlist the candidates on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination.
