KMAT Syllabus 2018 – Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) has released the syllabus of Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2018 along with the official exam details on June 7, 2018. In KMAT, candidate’s knowledge on three section including Reasoning, Quantitative and English comprehension will be tested. KMAT 2018 will be held in offline mode i.e paper-pen mode and will contain a total of 120 multiple choice (MCQs) questions. For every correct response, four marks will be awarded and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. To qualify the KMAT Examination, students must be aware of KMAT syllabus prescribed by the conducting body. The section wise KMAT 2018 syllabus is as follows-
Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
The question in this section will be asked on Grammar, comprehension of passages, sentence completion, vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, etc. The questions will be based on the candidate’s understanding and the correct choice of phrases, words, expressions and similar language skills.
Logical and Abstract Reasoning
This section consists of questions to evaluate the thinking process of the candidates. The question will be asked in sets as well as individual ones on the basis of Verbal Reasoning, analogy among others.
The questions in this section will be of matriculation standard. The topics that need to be prepared are-
- Ratio & proportion
- Time & speed
- Trigonometry and parts of mathematics
- Quantitative Reasoning
- Interpretation of tables
- Common graphs & charts
KMAT Exam Pattern 2018– An Overview
- The test will be held in pen and paper mode.
- The duration of the test will be 02 hours
- There will be 120 Multiple Choice Questions on Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Logical and Abstract Reasoning and Quantitative Ability
- The difficult level of the exam will be moderate.
