LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2025- Eligibility Criteria

  • Students who passed Class 12 or Diploma with 60% marks or above and their family income is less than ₹4.5 lakh per year are eligible to apply for LIC scholarship 2025-26. Additionally, students must have taken admission in 2025-26 in courses like medicine, engineering, graduation, integrated courses, diploma, or vocational courses.
  • Students who passed Class 10 with 60% marks or above can also apply for vocational/diploma/ITI courses and the minimum qualifying marks and family’s annual income criteria remains the same.

LIC Scholarship Eligibility For Special Girl Child Scholars

  • Open only for girls who passed Class 10 with 60% marks.
  • Family income should be below ₹4.5 lakh per year.
  • Scholarship applies for studies in the +2 level for up to two years.

LIC Scholarship Amount 2025

  • Medicine (MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS): ₹40,000 per year (₹20,000 in two instalments).
  • Engineering (BE, BTech, BArch): ₹30,000 per year (₹15,000 in two instalments).
  • Graduation/Diploma/Vocational/ITI: ₹20,000 per year (₹10,000 in two instalments).
  • Special Girl Child Scholar: ₹15,000 per year (₹7,500 in two instalments).

Important Terms & Conditions

  • Students in part-time or correspondence courses are not eligible.
  • Only one student per family can receive the scholarship.
  • Selection will be based on merit and income limit.
  • Preference is given to families earning below ₹2.5 lakh per year. If not enough candidates apply, students from ₹2.5–4.5 lakh range will be considered.
  • Students must score at least 60% marks in their last exam to remain eligible.
