AGRICET 2026 Eligibility Criteria – Educational Qualification

Applicants must clear both Class 10 and 12 or equivalent from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
Biological Science and Physics must be mandatory subjects in both Class 10 and 12.
Candidates should have completed a two-year diploma in Agriculture, Organic Farming or Seed Technology from ANGRAU or PJTSAU.
The final diploma candidates pursuing 2025-26, are also qualified to apply.

AGRICET Eligibility Criteria 2026 – Age Limit

The minimum age limit for a candidate applying for AGRICET 2026 must be 17 years by 31st December 2026.
The maximum age limit for General category applicants must be 22 years of age.
The maximum age limit for SC/ST applicants must be 25 years, and Physically Handicapped applicants must be 27 years of age, depending on the age relaxation offered by the government.

Other Requirements

Applicants must qualify to write the test only in their respective diploma specialization.
Seats reservation will be according to Andhra Pradesh government terms – 85% for local applicants and 15% for unreserved applicants.

Nationality – Applicants must be an Indian or Persons of Indian Origin or Overseas Citizen of India cardholders.
Domicile – AGRICET usually prefers applicants from Andhra Pradesh with 85% reserved seats for local applicants and 15% assigned to an unreserved quota.
