IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2026- Nationality
Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the IBPS RRB Exam. However, candidates belonging to any of the listed conditions are also eligible for IBPS RRB 2026-
- Candidates belonging to Nepal or
- Candidates belonging to Nepal or
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962 for permanently settling in India or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories listed in (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) must possess a certificate of IBPS RRB eligibility, issued by the Government of India.
