VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2027- VIT Age Limit & Educational details

VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2027 – VIT University will release the eligibility criteria of VITEEE 2027. Candidates must fulfill all the terms of the VITEEE 2027 eligibility criteria in order to appear in the exam. The information brochure containing the VITEEE eligibility 2027 will be issued online at vit.ac.in. VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2027 include VITEEE age limit, qualifying exam and minimum passing percentage. Candidates those who want to appear in the VITEEE 2027 Exam must check the complete eligibility before filling the application form.

VITEEE application form of ineligible candidates will not be accepted under any circumstances. Hence, it is a must to check the VITEEE eligibility. Below we have provided the complete details of VITEEE 2027 eligibility criteria.

VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2027 Age Limit

Aspirants should be born on or after 01 July 2005. Candidates have to produce the high school or Class 10th passing certificate at the time of counselling as proof of age limit.

VITEEE Eligibility 2027 Nationality

  • Indian Resident / Non-Resident Indian National / OCI / PIO Holder are eligible to apply for VITEEE 2027.
  • Foreign candidates who studied/studying abroad can apply through the International. Separate applications will be issued for those candidates.

VIT 2027 Eligibility Criteria – Qualifying Exam and Marks

  • Candidates should have qualified the Class 12th Examination or Higher Secondary Examination, conducted by CBSE or any State Board.
  • Class 12th appearing candidates are also eligible for VITEEE 2027.
  • Candidates appearing or appeared for 12th Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with a minimum of 5 subjects as recognized by the Central Board are also eligible.
  • Aspirants must have studied under regular and full time education.
  • The candidates must have scored at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in their intermediate exam from a recognized board.
  • The minimum qualifying marks for SC/ ST candidates and candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and Northeastern states are 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.

Additional VIT Eligibility 2027

For PCMB/PCM Applicants

Applicants who have taken Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude (MPCEA) in VITEEE 2026 are eligible for all B.Tech programmes if they meet both conditions:

  • They have at least 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  • They have at least 50% marks in mathematics in their +2/HSC/Intermediate exam.

For PCMB/PCB Applicants

Applicants who have taken Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude (BPCEA) in VITEEE 2026 are eligible for certain programmes if they meet both conditions:

  • They have at least 60% aggregate marks in Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
  • They have at least 50% marks in Biology in their +2/HSC/Intermediate exam.

PCB applicants who have taken Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude (MPCEA) in VITEEE 2026 can also apply for these programmes if they meet the same marks requirements.

They can apply only for the following programmes:

  • B.Tech. Biotechnology – VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai and VIT-AP
  • B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Bioinformatics) – VIT Vellore
  • B.Tech. Health Sciences and Technology – VIT Vellore
  • B.Tech. Bioengineering – VIT Bhopal
  • B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Health Informatics) – VIT Bhopal
  • B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering (Education Technology) – VIT Bhopal

VITEEE 2027 Eligibility Criteria for NRI Candidates-

  • Candidates must have completed 12 years of schooling with Chemistry, Physics and Maths/ Bio-tech/ Bio as compulsory and English as one of the subjects in the qualifying exam.
  • The minimum qualifying marks are 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Biology or Biotechnology (PCB) in 12th standard or equivalent exam

VITEEE Eligibility 2027- Important Point

  • If even a single condition of the VIT exam eligibility is not met, the candidate will not be considered eligible, and their application will not be accepted.
  • Candidates must ensure they meet the VITEEE 2027 eligibility criteria before submitting their application for the exam. If a candidate submits their application and is later found to be ineligible, their application will be canceled, and the application fee will not be refunded.
