- All questions will be asked are of Multiple choice type.
- The test duration is of 3 hours or 180 minutes.
- There will be no negative marking.
- For each correct response, 01 mark will be added to the final score.
- The test will be held in online mode or computer-based mode.

The question paper will comprise of five sections that are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and Comprehension, Current Affairs Awareness. There will be a total of 200 questions in these sections respectively. The total time for completing the exam will be 3 hours or 180 minutes. No extra time will be allotted under any circumstances. The questions will be ‘Objective Type’, i.e., there will be four options for all the questions, the candidates will have to choose the correct answer as per their knowledge.
As per the exam pattern of UPESEAT 2019, 1 mark will be awarded for the correct answer and there will be no negative marking in the exam. Thus, the candidates can take the risk of marking the answer even if they are not completely sure about the answer.
