UKSEE 2018

UKSEE 2018- Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) has released the online application forms of UKSEE 2018 Examination, stands for Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination on 15 April 2018. Eligible candidates can apply online till 30 April 2018 (Mid Night). UKSEE 2018 exam is a state level entrance exam, to be held on 10 and 11 May 2018 for admission in various UG and PG courses (B. Pharma., BHMCT, and MCA ,MBA, M. Tech, M. Pharma.) (Lateral Entry – B. Pharma., B. Tech., and MCA). The UKSEE 2018 examination will be held in both online and offline mode at 08 examination centers in Uttarakhand. Before filling the application form, candidates should check whether they meet the eligibility conditions or not. Only eligible candidates can send their applications through online mode. The exam conducting authority won’t accept any hard copy of the application forms. Candidates can click the below given link to apply online for the examination.

UKSEE 2018 Eligibility criteria

Candidates must fulfill all the eligibility criteria before applying for the test. Non-eligible candidates will not be able to register for the exam. So candidates must go through the eligibility criteria mentioned above.

Candidates should have Uttarakhand domicile certificate. Candidates not having the certificate but passed the qualifying exam from Uttarakhand Technical Board or University can apply for lateral entry. Such candidates are not eligible for any reservation.

Courses Eligibility
B. Pharma

 

Candidates must have passed their 10+2 level Examination with Physics & Chemistry. One of the subjects needs to be secondary (Mathematics, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational).
BHMCT Candidates must have qualified Class 12th or equivalent with at least 50% Marks.
B. Pharma (Lateral Entry)

 

Candidates must have qualified Diploma (Pharmacy-Allopathy of 2 years after 10+2) or equivalent with 60% aggregate marks.
MCA (Lateral Entry)

 

Candidates must have qualified BCA, BSC (IT & Computer Science) with Maths as core subjects at 10+2 level.
B.Tech (lateral Entry)

 

Candidates must have a Diploma from an AICTE approved institution in appropriate branch of engineering/ technology with minimum 45% Marks (40% in case of reserved category). OR
B.Sc. Degree with at least 45% Marks and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject (40% in case of reserved category).
MCA

 

Candidates must have a Bachelor Degree with Mathematics at intermediate level or at graduate level & obtained at least 60% marks.

 

UKSEE 2018 Application form- How to apply

UKSEE application form is accepted by the officials in online mode only. So, candidates must apply and pay the application fee in online mode. Candidates are advised to read the brochure completely for information. After reading the brochure completely, candidates can proceed to fill the application form.

 Candidate must visit the official website of Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) to apply for UKSEE 2018.  The application forms have been issued on 15 April 2018. Candidates can apply for more than one course. In such cases, the candidates must fill and submit more than one application form. Each application form should be dedicated to each course. Candidates cannot send the application form to the university through any offline mode.

Candidates have to fill in the application form with all the required details. They must make sure that they fill the form with authentic details. Any application form furnished with wrong details will be cancelled later on. Candidate should fill all the mandatory fields. Any mandatory field left incomplete will be subjected to cancellation. A cancelled application form has no validity.  Hence, the candidates will not get registered. Candidate should also upload their recent scanned photograph. Candidates must make sure that their attachments are within the prescribed size and format. Candidates should make sure that there is no fault on the application form. There is no provision for correction at a later stage. The candidates must take a printout of the application form. After taking printout, they must preserve their application form for future reference.

Application fees:

Candidates are requested to fill-up the application form properly as the entered information cannot be changed once it has been submitted. Now, after submitting the form, candidates will have to pay the application fee through online mode. The application fee will be different for each different category and the same is given below.

UKSEE 2018 Exam pattern

  • The Exam Authority of UKSEE 2018 will conduct the exam in offline mode.
  • Candidates have to answer in pen and paper-based format.
  • There is no negative marking scheme.
  • Candidates will score one mark for each correct answer.
  • Type of Question: Objective type questions will be given.
  • Marking Scheme: Different marks will be given for different papers accordingly.

UKSEE 2018 Admit card

The authority will issue admit card of UKSEE 2018 to the candidates in online mode on 06 May 2018. Candidates will need the application number and the password or date of birth details to download the UKSEE admit card. Below are the steps to download the admit card-

Steps to download UKSEE 2018 admit card:

  • Candidates have to visit the official university website to download the admit cards.
  • Fill the asked details such as application number and the password or date of birth
  • Click the “Submit” tab to check the admit card
  • Download the same and take its printout.

The candidates must carry their admit cards during the exam as no candidate without the admit card will be allowed to appear in the UKSEE 2018. Also, carry a valid ID proof along with the admit card.

 UKSEE 2018 Result

Candidates can view their UKSEE 2018 result from the official website of Uttarakhand Technical University. The Exam Authority will declare the results in online mode. After viewing and downloading the result, candidates must take a printout of the same. Candidates qualifying for the exam will be called for the counseling process. The candidates can also check the answer sheets from the website. Exam Authority will upload the answer sheet later. The candidates will get admission based on their performance in the exam.

UKSEE 2018 Merit List

UKSEE 2018 Merit List is to be announced via online mode. It is scheduled to happen right after the declaration of the results. It will be uploaded on the official site of UTU i.e. uktech.ac.in The merit list will be generated on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam.

It is enlisted necessary for the candidates to qualify in the exam to have their name on the merit list. Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria will be ranking the merit list and will become eligible for the further admission.

UKSEE 2018 Cutoff

UKSEE 2018 Cutoff will be formulated by the Exam Authority of Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU). The cutoff is set to select the deserving candidate for the admission in affiliated colleges of UTU. Candidates who secure cut off marks in UKSEE exam will be able to attend the counselling process. Cutoff will be released online on the official site of UTU, i.e., uktech.ac.in after the completion of counselling process. There are some factors which effect the formulation of the cutoff list. Few of those factors are the difficulty level of exam, number of seats, number of candidates who have given the exam.

UKSEE 2018 Counselling

The decisions made by the examination authority for admissions of students shall stand as final.

  • The counselling session will begin right after the announcement of the merit list.
  • In the Counselling session, seats will be allocated to the candidates on the basis of score secured by the students who have given the exam.
  • Counselling session will begin in the third week of June 2018 tentatively.
  • Candidates who will be shortlisted for the counselling session will have to submit ₹1000 in the form of Demand Draft. The DD needs to be drawn in favor of Finance Controller, UTU which shall be payable at Dehradun.
  • Candidates from Uttarakhand only can fill lateral entry seats.
