- Exam Mode- The Sainik school entrance exam 2024 will be held in pen and paper mode.
- Sainik School Passing Marks- Candidates have to attain a minimum of 25% marks in each subject and 40% marks in aggregate to qualify the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2024. There is no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST students.
- There will be no negative marking in AISSEE 2024.
- Students must cover the complete Sainik School Entrance Exam Syllabus to prepare for exams.

Sainik School Admission 2023 Eligibility
To apply for AISSEE 2023, candidates must attain a minimum set of Sainik School eligibility criteria 2023. Below are the eligibility norms for both Class 6 and Class 9 Sainik School admission.
For Class 6 Admission
- Minimum Age Limit- Candidates age should be between 10 to 12 years.Â
- Education Requirement- Class 5 students can apply for Sainik School admission 2023. There is no minimum qualifying percentage.
- Girl candidates are eligible to apply for admission in Sainik Schools.
For Class 9 Admission
- Minimum Age Limit- Candidates age should be between 13 to 15 years.Â
- Education Requirement- Class 8 students can apply for Sainik School admission 2024. There is no minimum qualifying percentage.
Sainik School Admission Form 2024-25
NTA will release the Sainik School Admission form 2024 in October. Candidates should submit the sainik school admission 2024 application before the last date, November 2023. The link to access the online Sainik School application form 2024 will be available on aissee.nta.nic.in 2024 or www.nta.ac.in. Along with the Sainik School admission form, candidates have to pay the exam fee in online mode.

Sainik School Result 2024
The result of Sainik School Admission 2024 test will be released separately on the official website of Sainik Schools. Only selected candidates will be able to check their name and roll number in the AISSEE result pdf. Shortlisted candidates will called for the interview. After the interview, final result will be released in April 2024.
Sainik School Admission 2024 Merit List
Sainik schools create the final Sainik school admission 2024 merit list based on their scores in AISSEE 2024 and medical exam. Each sainik school has different Sainik school cut off marks to create final merit list.
The tie-breaking criteria considered for preparing the Sainik school merit list are listed below.
- If two or more students obtained the same total marks, then the student with the higher maths marks will be considered.
- If tie persists, English marks will be taken into account for Class 9 while Intelligence test marks will be taken into account for Class 6.
- If a tie still exists, general science (Class 9) and language (Class 6) marks will be considered.
- Finally, if there is a tie, the candidate younger in age will be selected.
While attending the medical exam, students should bring AISSEE 2024 score card, admit card and recent passport-size photo, when attending the medical exam.
