IBPS Clerk Eligibility 2025 Nationality
A candidate must be either
- An Indian Citizen or
- A subject of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A Tibetan Refugee who visited India before 1 January 1962 with an intention to permanently settle in India or
- A person of Indian origin who has originally migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Uganda, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zaire, and Vietnam with an intention to permanently settle in India.
A candidate applying under the category 2, 3, 4 and 5 must possess a valid certificate of eligibility, which is issued by the Government of India.
IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2025 Educational Qualification
The aspirants must have a graduate degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India. Alongside, aspirants should have knowledge of computer and possess a valid certificate/ diploma/ degree in computer operations or must have studied computer/ information technology at the high school level or in college.
IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2025 Language Skills– Aspirants must be proficient in the regional language of the particular state/ UT for which he/ she is willing to apply.
IBPS Clerk 2025 Age limit
The age limit for IBPS Clerk 2025 is 20 to 28 years as on August 1, 2025 i.e. A candidate must have been born after August 2, 1997 and before August 1, 2025 (both dates inclusive).
