If two or more students get the same marks, these rules will be used:

1. a) Check marks in main subjects:

• MPC: Mathematics
• BPC: Biological Science
• MEC: Social Studies

1. b) If still tied, check next subject:

• MPC: Physical Science
• BPC: Physical Science
• MEC: Mathematics

**c) If the tie continues, the older student will get preference.

1. d) If still not resolved, preference will be given by category in this order:
   ST > SC > BC-A > BC-B > BC-C > BC-D > BC-E > OC
2. e) If the tie still remains, the older student will be selected as the final step.
