SSC MTS 2025 Notification, Exam Date, Eligibility, Syllabus Here

SSC MTS 2025- Staff Selection Commission will release the official notification and online forms of SSC Multi Tasking Staff 2025 recruitment in June 2025. The tier 1 examination will be held in September/October in computer-based mode. Candidates whose age is between 18- 25 years and who have passed the class 10th examination can apply for the SSC MTS 2025 recruitment. The application forms of eligible candidates will be accepted till July 2025. The total number of vacancies will be updated on the official website of SSC shortly. Name of the Posts- Multi Tasking Staff in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India, in different States/ Union Territories.

Pay Scale- Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20200) + Grade Pay Rs 1800, (Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC: Pay Level in Pay Matrix – Level-1)

SSC MTS 2025 Eligibility

• Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for SSC MTS 2025 Examination.
• The age of the candidates should be between 18 to 27 years as on 01 August 2025.
• Candidates must have qualified the Class 10th/ Matric or equivalent examination from a recognized Board.

SSC MTS 2025 Application Process

Candidates have to apply online for the exam. The application forms are available on the official website of the Commission. We have updated the direct link to access the application form on this page. The release date of SSC MTS application form will fall in June 2025. Eligible candidates can submit the filled application form till 29 May 2025.

Application Fee

Candidates have to submit an application fee of Rs. 100/- along with the application form to complete the registration process. No application form will be accepted without the fee.

SSC MTS 2025 Selection Process

The candidates will be selected on the basis of candidate’s performance in Paper 1 & Paper 2. The paper 2 is qualifying in nature. Qualifying marks in Paper-II will be 40% for General candidates and 35% for all other candidates who belong to reserved candidates.

• Paper-I will contain Objective Type- Multiple choice questions only.
• Paper-I will be a computer based test and Paper II will be a pen and paper based test.
• The question paper will be set in Hindi and English, both.
• For each incorrect answer, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
• Paper-II is descriptive paper wherein candidates have to write a short essay/letter in English or any other language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. The paper will be of qualifying in nature.

SSC MTS 2025 Admit Card

The admit card for SSC MTS will be released online on the regional websites of SSC 03 weeks prior to the examination date. It is expected the admit card or call letter will be issued in September 2025. Candidates should have their registration number and date of birth to download the admit card. The commission will not send any hard copy of the admit card to the residential address of the candidates.

SSC MTS 2025 Result

The commission will released the paper 1 exam in the month of October 2025. The result will be announced online on the main website of the Commission in the pdf form. Along with the SSC MTS result, the cut off will be issued for the reference of the candidates. Qualified candidates will be able to appear in Paper 2 in November 2025.

SSC MTS 2025 Answer Key

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the SSC MTS Tier 1 Answer Key on its official website approximately one month after the exam takes place. Initially, a provisional answer key will be made available, followed by the final version. Please note that there will be no answer keys provided for the SSC MTS 2025 Tier 2 and Skill Test. Candidates can access the SSC MTS exam answer key by logging in with their registration number and password on the official website.

SSC MTS 2025 Result

The result of SSC MTS 2025 will be declared by the Staff Selection Commission a month after the exam along with the cut off marks. The result pdf will contain name of the selected candidates.
