IBPS SO 2018– Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) has released the official notification of IBPS Specialist Officer 2018 Exam for recruitment to the post of Specialist Officer in Participating Institutes. The online registration for IBPS SO 2018 will be commenced from 06 November 2018 and eligible candidates will be able to submit online form till the last date, 26 November 2018. The preliminary IBPS SO 2018 Examination is scheduled to be held 26 to 30 December 2018 while the main examination will be conducted on 27 January 2019 in online mode. IBPS SO 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality- A candidate must be either –
- A Citizen of India or
- A subject of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit– Candidate’s age must be in between 20 to 30 years as on 01 November 2018 i.e. a candidate must have been born after 02 November 1988 and before 01 November 1998 (both dates inclusive)

- Rajbhasha Adhikari– Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level OR Post graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree (graduation) level.
- Law Officer– A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council
- HR/Personnel Officer- Graduate and Full time Post Graduate degree or Full time Post Graduate diploma in Personnel Labour Law

The only online mode to fill the IBPS SO Application form will be released on 06 November 2018. Candidates have to visit the official website of IBPS to register themselves. Application Fees- Candidates have to pay an application fee from 6 to 26 November 2018 in online mode to complete the application process.

IBPS SO 2018 Admit Card
The admit card of IBPS SO 2018 will be released online on the main website of IBPS. Candidates will need their application number/ registration ID and password to download the IBPS SO admit card 2018. The admit card/ call letter for prelims will be released in December 2018 and the call letter for Main will be issued in January 2019.
IBPS SO 2018 Result
IBPS will declare the result of IBPS SO 2018 on its official portal. To check the IBPS SO result, candidates should have their login credentials. The result will contain the scores obtained by the candidates in the examination. The result will be announced at three stages, after prelims, after main and after Interview process. Candidates who qualify all the stages will be called for final appointment.
