  • Educational Qualification: For teaching at the secondary or senior secondary level, you need to hold a bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.Sc., etc.) in the subject you want to teach, along with a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree.
  • TET: You must clear the Secondary Teacher (TET) exam, which is required to teach in schools affiliated with either the state or central board.
  • Postgraduate Qualification (optional): A master’s degree in the subject you wish to teach can enhance your prospects, especially for higher secondary teachers.
• For getting a government teaching job, candidates have to clear the CTET exam (Central Teaching Eligibility Test) conducted by the Central Government or TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) is a state government conducted requirement test . And every category must have to secure at least 60% in this exam. It is conducted by the CBSE for appointing a teacher from class 1 to 8.
