UCEED 2027- Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay will conduct the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2027 in January 2027 for admission to B. Des courses offered at IIT Bombay, IITDM Jabalpur, and IIT Guwahati. Aspirants who have passed Class XII (or equivalent) in any stream (Science, Arts, or Commerce) are eligible to appear for UCEED 2027 Examination. The exam conducting authority has released the UCEED exam 2027 brochure online. The application form for UCEED will be released in October 2026 and eligible candidates must fill the same till the last date, November 2026. It is a national level exam conducted every year. UCEED 2027 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates those who want to apply for UCEED 2027 must make sure that they are eligible for the same. To be eligible for the exam, the candidates will have to satisfy all the UCEED eligibility criteria. These conditions are defined by the exam officials to select the candidates for the exam. If even a single condition is left unfulfilled, then the candidates will not be considered eligible for the exam.
Age Limit- The candidate belonging to the GEN or OBC-NCL category should have been born on or after 01 October 2001 and the candidate belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category should have been on or after 01 October 1996.
Number of Attempts- Maximum 02 attempts are allowed and the score of UCEED is valid for one year only for admissions in the respective academic year.
Qualifying Examination- The candidate should have passed the Class XII or equivalent Examination in 2026, OR appearing in 2027.
UCEED 2027 Application Form
The candidates those who are interested and eligible for UCEED 2027 can submit their application form till the last date. The UCEED application forms will be release in October and the candidates have to submit it till November 2026. The application form, with late fees, can be submitted till November 2026. After that, no application will be accepted under any circumstances.
The candidates must make sure that the details provided by the candidate are correct and complete in all aspects. The incomplete and incorrect applications will either not be accepted or will be rejected in the later stage. In addition, the candidates will also have to pay the application fee as well. The application fee for the male candidates is 4000/- for General, OBC, OBC-NCL categories and 2000/-for SC, ST, PwD categories.
For female candidates, the application fee for UCEED 2027 is 2000/- for all the categories. For third gender, the application fee for OBC, General, OBC-NCL category candidates is 4000/- and for SC, ST, PwD candidates is 2000/-.
UCEED Admit Card
IIT Bombay will release the UCEED admit card 2027 online in the month of December 2026. Candidates should have their login details to download the UCEED exam admit card. It is an mandatory document that aspirants must bring while appearing for the examination. Also note, only registered candidates who have paid the fee will be able to download the UCEED hall ticket.
UCEED 2027 Syllabus
UCEED Exam syllabus will be released along with the official notification in October. The syllabus contains important topics and chapters that aspirants must cover to score well in the examination. It is advised to cover the complete syllabus at least a month before the exam and solve last year papers to understand better about syllabus and important topics.
