GATE Cutoff 2026- IIT Guwahati will release the cutoff marks of GATE 2026 for all subjects on March 19. GATE exam cutoff marks are the minimum marks, set by the exam official in order to select the qualified candidates after the GATE Exam. The candidates those who qualify the exam will be able to appear for the counselling round. The cutoff marks of GATE 2026 will be prepared separately for each stream and category as well.
Lakhs of candidates appeared in the exam. Since all the candidates cannot be selected, therefore the GATE 2026 Cutoff marks will be announced to provide transparency to selection process. The candidates those who succeed in scoring marks more than or equal to the cutoff marks will only be allowed to appear in the further rounds. The candidates those who have appeared in the GATE Exam can check the details for the GATE cutoff marks along with their GATE result.

GATE Cutoff 2026- Deciding Factors
In order to decide the GATE 2026 Cutoff marks, the exam officials consider various factors related to the exam. In general, there is not a huge difference between the cutoff marks of two consecutive years. Some cutoff deciding factors are listed below-
