How to Calculate CAT marks?

To calculate the scores and percentile, candidates should follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1– Calculate the mean and standard deviation (SD) of the raw scores in the QA section for all candidates in the morning session. Let the mean be denoted as M1, the standard deviation as S1, and the value G1 as M1 + S1.

Step 2– Next, calculate the mean and standard deviation (SD) of the raw scores in the QA section for all candidates in the afternoon session. Use the same process for the third session. Let the mean be M2, the standard deviation be S2, and the value G2 be M2 + S2.

Step 3- Now, calculate the overall mean and standard deviation (SD) of the raw scores in the QA section for all candidates across all three sessions.

Step 4– Determine the mean raw score in the QA section of the top 0.1% of candidates in the morning session, and denote this value as M10.1.

Step 5– Finally, calculate the mean raw score in the QA section for the top 0.1% of candidates across all three sessions.
