UPCPMT 2017- Important Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Exam Pattern

UPCPMT 2017, is also known as Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical Test. It is a state level entrance exam that will be conducted by Deen Dayal Upadhyaya University, Kanpur. It is being carried out for the admission of the candidates in Medical, Ayurveda, Dental, Unani and homeopathy courses. UPCPMT 2017 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for UPCPMT 2017 are the conditions that must be satisfied by the candidates in order to be eligible for the exam. Without fulfilling the eligibility requirements, the candidates will not be considered for the exam. If even a single conditions remain unfulfilled, then the applicant cannot apply for the exam.

The eligibility conditions for the exam are:

1. The candidates must have completed a minimum of 17 years of age as on 31 December of the year of the admission.
2. The candidate should be a permanent residence of Uttar Pradesh state.
3. They must have passed class XII or any other equivalent with Physics, English, Chemistry and Biology as the main subjects.
4. It is necessary to have scored at least 50% marks in PCB. Age Relaxation of 10% for the candidates of SC, ST categories.
5. The candidates appearing in the class XII exam can apply as well.

UPCPMT 2017 Application Form

The candidates those who are eligible for the exam can fill and submit their application for the exam. The application form for UPCPMT can be accessed via the official website only. It is expected to be released in the second week of March 2017. The candidates will have to submit their applications till the last as after that no form will be accepted under any circumstances. The details provided by the candidates in the application form must be correct and complete in all the aspects.

Application Fee

The application fee must also be paid to complete the application process. Candidates of General and OBC categories will have to pay 1400/- and those of SC, and ST categories will have to pay 750/- as the application fee. The fees can be paid either via e-challan, net banking, credit card or debit card.

UPCPMT 2017 Exam Pattern

UPCPMT 2017 Admit Card

The admit card of UPCPMT 2017 will be issued in the month of May 2017 (tentative). Candidates have to download the admit card from the official website by entering their application number and date of birth. The admit card will contain someimportant details including the examination date, venue, candidate’s name and roll number, etc.

UPCPMT 2017 Result

The result of UPCPMT 2017 will be announced on the official website in the first week of June 2017 (tentative). Candidates have to enter their roll number and Date of Birth to check the result. After the announcement of the result, merit list will be prepared. On the basis of the merit list, counseling will be conducted.

UPCPMT 2017 Counselling

The counseling process will start after the declaration of the result and issuance of merit list. The counseling is likely to be commenced in the 4th week of June 2017. The counseling date and procedure will be uploaded on the official website of UPCPMT. Candidates may note that they will not receive any separate call letter for the counseling process. The counseling will be completed in 03 rounds. According to the merit list and seat availability, candidates will get the admission. Candidates have to pay Rs. 500 as a fee for counseling and Rs. 5000 as a security fee.
