Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode will conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 on November 30, 2025 in a computer-based test (CBT) mode in 3 sessions. The exam will be conducted in around 170 cities.

How to Register for CAT 2025?
Candidates should follow the below given steps to apply for CAT exam 2025.
- Go to the official website- iimcat.ac.in
- Click on the link referring to “New Candidate Registration”
- Accept the guidelines and fill the given blanks with correct details
- Accept the declaration and fill in the CAPTcha code.
- The registration will be done.
- Login again and fill the CAT application form.
- Pay the requisite fee and upload the required documents.
CAT 2025 examination is conducted by IIMs for admission to postgraduate and fellow/doctorate courses. It is important for MBA admission but not the only criterion. Candidates must also go through additional selection stages, the specifics of which will be announced later on the official websites of the respective institutes.
Applicants will be allowed to select up to five preferred cities for the test center.
Once the CAT registration 2025 ends, a brief editing window will be provided, during which candidates can make changes to the following details in their CAT application form:

- Uploaded signature
- Preferred test cities
CAT Paper Pattern 2025
The exam duration for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 is 120 minutes. It will consist of three sections:
- Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
- Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
- Section III: Quantitative Ability
Each section will have a time limit of 40 minutes. Candidates must complete one section before moving on to the next, as switching between sections during the exam will not be permitted.
