Those who clear this entrance test will be given admission to multiple undergraduate and postgraduate courses in agriculture and associated sectors. To be eligible for AGRICET 2026, a candidate will have to pass Class 12 with at least 50% marks from a recognized Board. A candidate must be 17 years old by December 31, 2026 and fulfill other necessities. The application process for AGRICET 2026 will begin tentatively in July 2026. The test will be conducted in online mode.

AGRICET 2026 Application Process

1. Registration & Fee Payment- Aspirants have to pay first the application fee first online by utilizing credit or debit cards or net banking. The exam fee is INR 1400 for the General category and INR 700 for SC/ST or PHY applicants. Late applications will be charged double.
2. Filling the Application Form- After submitting the fee, aspirants must fill online form with academic, personal and contact information and upload needed papers like photos and signatures. 
3. Submission of Hard Copy- The application form printout must be sent along with added papers like Diploma Certificate, Marksheets, Conduct Certificate, Caste Certificate, Local Status Proof, Age Proof, etc., to the registered or speed post to the Convener, AGRICET department at S.V. Agricultural College, Tirupati, within a given timeline.
4. Confirmation- Aspirants obtain assurance at their registered mobile number and email address upon successful submission.

AGRICET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the requirements detailed below to apply for AGRICET 2026.

1. Educational Qualification- A candidate must clear Class 12 from a recognized Board with at least 50% aggregate marks and mandatory subjects like Biological Science and Physical Science.
2. Diploma- Applicants possessing a 2-year Diploma in Agriculture, Organic Farming or Seed Technology from ANGRAU or PJTSAU can fill up the AGRICET 2026 application form. The final year Diploma candidates can also apply.
3. Age Limit- The minimum age of a candidate is 17 years by December 31, 2026, and the maximum age is 22 years for General candidates, 25 years for SC/ST and 27 years for PH applicants.
4. Discipline- Aspirants can also appear for the AGRICET 2026 exam in their respective diploma stream. 
5. Reservation- Almost 85% of seats are secured for local applicants, with 15% unreserved according to Andhra Pradesh government rules.

AGRICET 2026 – Admission Process

The admission process of AGRICET 2026 is merit-based and includes the given below points.

1. Entrance Exam

Applicants will have to appear for the AGRICET written exam at the assigned centres.

The test is analyzed strictly and only allowed products like sanitizer, gloves, mask, pen, water bottle, admit card and ID are enabled inside.

1. Result & Merit List

Results are published on the university’s portal. Ranking will be understood by SSC marks, Diploma marks, and then the Date of Birth if any results in a tie position. Older applicants will be given priority.

1. Counselling

Selected aspirants will be called for counselling at LAM, RARS and Guntur. Several rounds will be organized based on cut-off marks and seat availability. Shortlisted candidates are called for counselling at RARS, LAM, Guntur. Seat allotment will depend on reservation, merit and applicant priorities.

1. Final Admission

Aspirants must finish the document examination and submit the admission fee to book their seat.
