PSTET 2024- Notification, Exam Date, Syllabus, Pattern

PSTET 2024 – Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will release the online application form for Punjab Tearcher’s Eligibility Test 2024 in November. PSTET or Punjab TET 2024 registration link will be available at pstet.pseb.ac.in. The last date to apply for PSTET 2024 will fall in December 2024. Candidates who meet all the eligibility criteria can apply online for the PSTET exam 2024 before the last date. PSTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants have to satisfy all the mentioned eligibility criteria in order to apply  for the PSTET 2024 Exam. Ineligible candidates will not be allowed to appear in the Punjab TET Exam 2024.

Minimum Educational Qualifications for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- yr Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-yr Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.

OR

Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (passed or appearing).

Minimum Educational Qualifications for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage)

Graduate Degree with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (passed or appearing in final year)

OR

Graduate Degree with a minimum of 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) (passed or appearing)

OR

Graduate Degree with a minimum 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) (passed or appearing), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

PSTET 2024 Exam Pattern

• The PSTET Exam Paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with 04 alternatives having 01 correct answers.
• For each correct answer, one mark will be awarded and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answer

There will be two papers of PSTET

(i) Paper I- Candidates who want to be a teacher for classes I to V can apply for this paper

(ii) Paper II- Candidates who want to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII can apply for this paper

Note: If a candidate wants to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) then he/she has to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

PSTET 2024 Application Form

To apply for the PSTET exam 2024, candidates have to apply online. Step-wise process to apply online has been provided here for easy convenience of the candidates.

PSTET 2024 Application Fee

• For general category Rs.600/-
• For SC/ST category / Differently Abled – Rs.300/-,
• For Ex-serviceman (Self) – NIL (for each test)

PSTET 2024 Admit Card

The admit card of Punjab TET 2024 Exam will be uploaded on its official website in December 2024. If any candidate faces issues in downloading the admit card or encounters any discrepancy in the mentioned details such as candidate’s photograph, signature or any other details then immediately contact PSTET officials for necessary corrections.

Punjab TET 2024 Answer Key

The exam authorities will release the answer key of PSTET 2024 in January 2025 at pstet.pseb.ac.in. Candidates will need their application number and password to download the Punjab TET answer key. The answer key of PSTET exam 2024 will help candidates to calculate their scores in the exam.

PSTET 2024 Result

The result of Punjab TET 2024 will be declared in the month of January 2025. Candidates will be able to check the PSTET exam result on its official website by providing their roll number and other asked details in the specified spaces. We will also update the link to check the result of PSTET 2024.
