NDA 1 Result 2025 Date- Check NDA 1 Written Result

NDA 1 Result 2025- UPSC will declare the written result of NDA 1 2025 in the first week of May 2025. NDA 1 2025 result link will be uploaded on upsc.gov.in in the form of a PDF file. Candidates can check the roll numbers of the qualified candidates in NDA 1 results 2025. Selected candidates will be called for the SSB interviews to be conducted in July/ August 2025. NDA 2025 SSB Interview will be a two-stage selection procedure i.e. Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test. Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the written test followed by Interview. Final NDA 1 result 2025 will be released in November 2025.

Candidates have to follow the below-mentioned steps in order to check their NDA 1 2025 result. While checking the NDA 1 results, make sure you search the right roll number in the result file.

• Either click the above provided link or visit the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in
• Click the link referring to “Written Result- NDA & NA (I) 2025 Examination”
• UPSC NDA 1 result PDF will appear on your screen
• In that result file, name and roll number of the selected candidates will be mentioned. Candidates have to check their roll number in the file
• Save the NDA 1 exam result file for future reference.

Stages of the NDA 1 Results

UPSC will declare NDA 1 results in two distinct stages. Here is an overview of these stages:

NDA Written Result

The NDA written exam consists of two sections: General Ability Test (GAT) and Mathematics. The exam is scored out of a total of 900 marks. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) compiles a list of candidates who achieve the minimum qualifying marks in the written test. Only those candidates who meet the required cut-off are eligible to proceed to the next stage, the SSB Interview, which assesses their intelligence and personality.

NDA Final Result

The final NDA result is released after the SSB Interview has been completed. The selection of candidates for admission into the Army, Navy, Naval Academy, and Air Force depends on their combined performance in both the written exam and the SSB Interview. Candidates must achieve separate minimum qualifying marks in each stage to be considered for final selection.

What After NDA 1 result?

After the declaration of NDA 1 2025 result, candidates will need to appear in SSB interviews. Separate DAF forms will be released that every qualified candidate has to fill by uploading required documents. Final list of selected candidates as NDA 1 final result will be released after conducting SSB interview.

Qualified candidates will be called for Personal Interview/ SSB Interview to be held by the Services Selection Board, Ministry of Defence. Candidates have to bring their original documents of Matriculation Certificate or Equivalent and Intermediate Examination Passing Certificate (if already passed) while appearing in the SSB Interview.

How are the NDA Scores Calculated?

UPSC follows the NDA marking scheme for calculating scores. Below is the marking scheme of NDA exam.

• In GAT- +4 marks for correct answer
• In the Mathematics section- +2.5 marks for correct answer
• For wrong answers, -0.33 marks are deducted

Formula for Score Calculation

• GAT- Number of correct answers x 4 – Number of incorrect answers x 0.33
• Mathematics – Number of correct answers x 2.5 – Number of incorrect answers x 0.33

NDA 1 Result- Tie-Breaking Criteria

• In case, two or more candidates obtained equal aggregate marks, then candidates’ getting more marks in the written examination will be placed at higher rank.
• If the tie remains, the candidates having more marks in General Ability Test (GAT) paper will be placed at higher rank.
• In case tie still persists, the candidates’ senior by age will be placed at higher rank.

NDA 1 Marksheet 2025

Candidates will be able to download the UPSC NDA 1 marksheet within 15 days from the date of publication of final NDA 1 result. The marksheet is available to download for 30 days. Candidates will need their login credentials. Details available on marksheet
